It seems like that's a fairly common situation. I mean, how often do we hear about couples wherein the dominant man is allowed to take as many partners as he wants, but the submissive woman is faithful? Seems like that's the way a lot of couples here opperate.

This definition may be accurate and the phenomenon is as old as the hills but is it really "cuckolding"? For example...if a married man has a woman on the side we call her a "mistress" but if a married woman has a man on the side there is no term for him in the English language. Perhaps the term "reverse cuckold" seems awkward because there just isn't the same stigma associated with a man cheating on a woman as for the reverse. just kicking around the idea t

Veronica, cuckolding in it's purest form is a 'husband', usually faithful, raising children borne of his 'wife' who are either knowningly or unknowingly to him, fathered by someone else. Namely by marriage father a male child and continue his family line. Thus any children of the marriage were begot of John, or Joe or whatever his name happened to be.
