Ok, so I'm neither females, submissive or suffering from a gunshot wound, but last year O/our open flue gas boiler decided to back up and try to kill us with Carbon Monoxide.
My girl passed out and started having convulsions, which I woke her up from. I got her and our two unmentionables out while calling the emergency services and turning the gas supply to the house off.
The family was taken to hospital for treatment. I had to wait round for another two hours while the fire service made the house safe. They were gonna leave it open, so I had to stay to lock up before going to hospital myself.
Blood tests revealed we both had upwards of 20% carbon monoxide in our blood. At 30%, you go into coma and eventually die. And I'd sat around getting no treatment with 20%+ poisoned blood for two hours afterwards...
How did I feel while this was going on? Euphoric. Adrenaline's a weird thing.
BTW, not blowing my own trumpet, here. It's long enough ago to be nothing more than a funny story. Still bloody glad to be alive tho[:D]
