Fun bras handcrafted into artforms:

http://www.quiltersofsc.org/artfullbras/artfullbras.htm

& very groovy custom-made bras:

http://sparkleplentycreations.com/products.htm

Mostly just for the fun of it . . . ..

But to keep this interactive, whether you wear 'em, or just admire them:

What do you like, dislike, & / or look for in a bra?

What would your art bra look like?

&, please, by all means, post links to more fabulous bras, or other lingerie-as-art . . . . .

...........or look for in a bra?

Er, uh, hmmm.....tits!!!!!! (OK, maybe not so good with thinking of bras as an art form, but what's in them...well, what can I say?)

The thing I like most, taking them off...ahhhhhh.

I'd like one that was covered in amythysts since I love purple so much!

Uh, no, their role is to COVER UP works of art.

Those are awesome. I have never thought of buying plain white bras and decorating them. I'm not sure about glitter and stuff, because they have to be washable. But fabric paint could be used easily enough.

I like the second link better, Kia.  Mine would be along those lines.  Many dancers and performers modify basic bras for their costumes.

Thanks, ladies . .. . .

Vendeval, I tend to agree with you; the first link are things that would be difficult to wear, at best, & are probably better as wall decorations . . . . . (They'd look nice next to the display of aesthetically pleasing dildoes & antique vibrators & such .. . . . Hmmmmmmm . .... . )

Anyways, my sister was a belly dancer & made tribal costuming stuff in addition to more cabaret gear . . ... So, some thoughts from that experience:

Both of those links probably make use of the same thing my sis & many other belly dance costumers do, building off of a basic high-quality bra purchased from wherever . .. . .

Adding all the doo-dads & such like can be a relatively small amount of work for those who are into such things. There's just not that much acreage to cover on a bra . .. ..

I've thought fabulous bras should play a bigger part in femme dungeon wardrobe choices, but that's probably lots of projection on my part . . . . . lol . . . . That & that I'm a huge costuming ho . . . .. . lol
