Folks , Have any of you seen "Audition" by Japanese director Takashi Miike? We watched it on Netflix since Rob Zombie said it had scared the shit out of him. The first hour or so is fairly regular but then it takes a very viscious turn. As a BDSM community I would like to knwo what people thought of it. Certainly I can see a sadist enjoying some parts of it. M

I saw it, and have mixed feelings about it. I'm not sure the plot and characters really worked for me. I never really quite bought into the motivation of the young woman. In terms of kinky content, it was a little over the top -- having my ankles sawed off with piano wire is a hard limit for me.
