I would have to second this Cloudboy

The fiberglass cane itself ups the ante, and if my Mistress swung hard and caught my bone, I'd be injured. Even though she didn't swing that hard or really leave any marks, my deep tissues felt the paltry five (5) full strokes she administered after the warm up. When we were done, I took the cane and cracked it against the knuckles of my left hand, and it was clear to me that if I swung it hard it would simply break them, whereas wooden cane would not.

In sum, the fiberglass cane strikes me as sexy in hand but dangerous/hazardous in use. Put another way, it takes skill to use and earned trust to endure.

canes.. uh hmmm. Hate em, terrified of em and they hurt like god only knows in tender areas. And they make me jump. Had one that was like created from another toy and now have one that is rattan. We've also this short stubby looking glass thing that has a heavy thump to it.

That being said, usually after about the 40th or so stroke i can get into it and enjoy it.

Tho i did suprisingly find that if there isnt much arm put into it.. its not all that bad those first 40 strokes.

I think the prospect of 40 strokes would make me pass out before one was even administered.

cloudboy,

Are you talking about hollow or solid fiberglass rods? Like those used in fishing rod blanks are usually whippy. However like the carbon fiber, I'd encase them in something, I prefer platted leather and test them regularly bu flexing them. If ther are spungy then the fiber glass or carbon fiber is dammaged and need replacing. The same applies with rattan if encased as I learned with SCA swords untill I switched to fighting exclusively with a mace and shield. BTW the carbon fober and fiber glass arrow blanks flex nicely too.

Solid fiberglass, as in THUD. Its much stiffer than say a STIFF graphite golf shaft. Its almost like a skinny, light, lead pipe. (I exagerate a little.)

Its only a tease for me too. As the start count if he's counting starts at 40. But i'm told to bend and NOT MOVE and well the thwack always makes me jump and usually by about 20 we're at 60. Then of course if there is like 5 - 7 strokes in less then a minute its usually more then i can do to stand still. And i usually pop up turn around cos i sorely want to deck him by then. hahahhahaha. Its about this time that the rope comes out to keep little ol me still, well as still as possible as i always find slack some how. Usually by stretching the rope and drawing into myself. Helps me brace better = ) Which by this time the counting has stopped and its an all out playing field from head to toe, front and back. Usually takes a great while hour or so and usually by end i wish he would never stop. Or some where in the middle of being tied down.

Hey, does anyone know why it hurts so much more to be hit in the lower of your back with a cane? Like where your butt cheeks end and the bone is? But not quite to your lower back though? Say, your bend over, it'd be right on the top of your butt.
