The thing to be careful with about business calls (especially collections and telemarketing) is that in some states, the caller is not allowed to call known cellphones because it is illegal. So even if it was a legitimate business call, they might not have been able to call a cell phone. (If I remember right, it might be a national U.S. law, I'd have to check though.) I remember that when I worked in collections, helping clients on debt reduction plans, if they even mentioned once that we had reached them on a cell phone, I had to end the call and note the account. In some cases, the cell was all we had as a contact number and if that was the case, and we couldn't contact them at any other number, then they were removed from the program. Having a viable landline phone number we could talk with them at was a stated condition for acceptance into the program. Maybe they'll call back and you'll find out what it's about. If not, then obviously it's not worth the effort. [:)]
