This can be the polar opposite to the "Eye Rolling" Thread----What has happened today that gave you a warm smile?
Mine came from introducing My stable owner to the man that I always buy My tomatoes from in the summer and wood from in the winter---we have known him and his family now for almost 10 years--they are some of the best NC people I've ever met--good people, humble people. The man called Me last week saying he had some hay would I be interested, we talked, I called My stable owner --I didn't know that she needed a new source for hay---we piled the kids in the truck and took a delightful Friday afternoon ride to the deeper country---She was so thrilled with what he produced, he was pleased to find a steady customer for the year---they shook hands on the bargain and I know started a lifelong friendship. I felt warm all over--business the old fashioned way--the chance to help him and his family--and the chance to show our stable owner that good down home people still exist.
