Just wondering if most use their own toys or use those provided by the clubs they are members of.

Would never use a club toy unless it was furniture. And even then only if after I inspected it did I feel it was safe. To many things can be done on club items........... That being said I have never belonged to a club that had Toys that anyone could use I would be Terrified that someone would get hurt and the club owner would be liable because they supplied the item that caused the damage. I've never seen club toys at any of the places we go. I'd NEVER use any toy they would provide. Who knows if it was cleaned properly after the last person? Who knows what was done with the toy? Just the thought is EWWWWW. Only thing the places I go supply is large furniture type things like a St Andrew's Cross, a spanking bench, or medical table. The persons using the furniture wipe it down with bleach as soon as they are done with it.

Got to go with Steel and Peppermint here. Other than furniture, I would never use toys provided by a club (squick!) ETA- I am of the school that believes toys should go with the sub, hence I have my own. I will and have happily shared impact toys (floggers, paddles, and such) with friends, but the insertables in my bag are for use on me alone. Others will have differing opinions on this, of course.

I would never use club toys, and lately I'm even starting to get squicked by club furniture. Wood is not really a very hygienic surface. And the other night I saw what I think must have been a rat. No one else noticed, but SOMETHING was scurrying around. I might not be going to clubs too often in the near future.

I'm of pretty much the same opinion as just about everyone here and my ooged out factor is likely substantially higher as the idea of touching most items in a club would cause me psychological discomfort. Toys and furniture: I own a good bit of such things. I'd rather wait until I can have my own if I don't already have it rather than utilizing some communal stuff. Eeeeew. If I wouldn't share bodily fluids with the person who is using it, I don't want to use the item. Davan (Who readily admits I've gotten more germ-phobic in my 'old age', lol!)
