An "anagnost" is specifically a cleric who reads things aloud in the Orthodox Church (like a lector or prelector in the Roman Catholic Church).  The etymology is revealing: the anagnostes is the person who does anagignoskein, or "making things known" by reading them aloud.

Ok, I'll concede that one. I looked it up

As for Roble; hint:   It's a noun, and native to California.

"Maenad" is related to "mania," actually.

Looked this one up because I don't know it.  "Tenesmic" means "afflicted with tenesmus," which is basically when you can't shit or piss.

Daboia is a poisonous snake.

Another definition for it, though not widely known is LURKER

It means "pupil" (looks like it HAS to be borrowed from discipulus), but I thought we were conducting the game in English...

Next one..."先派"

Edited to add...My God, CM accepts Chinese now!  Yay!

I am not sure of the exact definition but I know it has something to do with carriages. Give me some time, I'll figure it out.
