Status: offline 		What is a mind fuck in BDSM? I am wondering if I might like this, but I can't think of ways to express it in BDSM. I saw it in a horror flick where the victim thought they might live and then died. The only thing that comes close in my experience is when he touches my butthole but doesn't stick anything in there. I never know if he will or won't.

What ways have you expressed or experienced this type of play?

Asking a question again is a tricky business.

The more common and endless a topic is, the more annoying it is to repost on: Things like "gift of submission" "the meaning of slave" "how to handle jealousy" "subspace" "humiliation" and other Top Ten BDSM Topics tend to be groanworthy due to their endless repetition and non-closure, as well as a high likelihood to cause annoyance between posters.

That being said, even these topics should be taken out, dusted off, and re-examined for the new crop every 6 months or so.

Less common but still frequent topics like "caning" and "topping from the bottom" are taken to well when they first arrive, but copy-cat posters are often ignored. Posting the same topic a week after it's just been done doesn't inspire new musings. Posting the same topic two months afterwards however, has left people with time to have new perspectives, new experiences and the like.

With a site like this, new people flood in every day. We get posters who are all frenzied up and yet disappear after a few months. We get posters who come in the middle of things. We get posters who have been around a long time but just now got to THIS site.

Even the time of day can affect how a post is responded to.

In the end, there's no such thing as a new topic really. But a topic will always be new to SOMEONE. It's better to search before posting, but posts will almost always get some response as long as they are near topic and asked politely.

That being said, I do believe there is such a thing as a stupid question.

Status: offline 		I just think people should remember that they are not obligated to respond to a post. If someone posts a topic that you are tired of talking about... then... don't talk about it. Just because it's not new to you, doesn't mean it's not new to them. And if it's new to them, then likely there are others out there who also haven't beaten the idea to death already. Let them discuss it amongst themselves if they want. I doubt anyone is going to get offended if some people just let a topic pass them by now and then.

Status: offline 		Another thing I've noticed though, is that sometimes when you search for a particular topic, even when the topic is there, sometimes the search function does not pick up on the search terms used.

Getting information about how to build a Saint Andrew's Cross was a tad difficult until I found out using just the word Cross yeilded better results. Some people get frustrated and give up easily.

Often too, said topic does not exactly fit in with what the original poster is asking about, even if the general topic is the same, or seems so.

As such I eventually had to ask about what kindof hardware to use to make sure the cross will not break regardless of who I put on it. I'm still trying to figure this out. Trips to the hardware store and searching on the internet have been less than insightful. Although, in this case, the topic: The Cross, had already been investigated in a prior thread.

So even when a topic does seem overworked. Sometimes the particulars involving the topic are different and require investigation. No real point in jumping down the poster's throat about it, although as Lucky Albatross has done, pointing out the old threads is a nice thing to do, so that the OP may be able to find the information they seek there.

Status: offline 		Okay. So I've read the threads now. Your best mindfuck as a scene is? was the best onw, though it was still full of people debating whether mind fusks are good or bad. To each his own I say. We won't all like the same things. Heck, BDSM isn't for everyone either! I am not looking for hard limits or fear of death, though those can be interesting reads. I like the idea of not knowing what to expect. I like the whirlwind state it brings. I had no idea what was next, and no control of it. It pushed my submission deeper.

I found lots of interesting ideas. Has anyone tried anything new lately?

Status: offline 		I enjoy mindgames/mindfucks. I love to find out what scares someone and incorporate that into play. I also like to use their limits, sometimes using a mind fuck to begin the expansion of limits. Other times, with subs that I've played with often and hold a great deal of their trust, I will make it appear as though I'm going to cross one of their hard limits.

One very recent example, a sub whose hard limit is men being involved in a scene. This sub is so homophobic that he will not play or even undress while another man is in the same room. Before we began a scene I told him that another Domme would be joining us. He was quite thrillled with the idea of two women dominating him. I had him undressed, tied to the cross, and blindfolded and I had the other Domina enter the dungeon, the entire time she never spoke and she wore leather gloves. After a nice long session, I told her to take somethings into the kitchen and come back. Once she left the room I had the boy dress without removing the blindfold. Once he was dressed, I opened the dungeon door and had a man come in and sit (the boy assumed that the person entering the room was the other Domme returning). I then told the boy he could remove the blindfold and see the person that was assisting me in torturing him...
