I often fantasize about being owned by a Master and having a Property of Master ...... tatooed on my forhead, have any Masters put this into practice or is this strictly a fantasy?

No, and I wouldn't. A lot of things are best left in the realm of fantasy.

My girl has a slave marking on each thigh. One is a dina flower and the other is a kef. Both are Gorean brandings, but they are tattoed on her. My name is tattooed on the back of her neck, at the base of the hair. This was only after two years. I do not recommend this lightly to anyone. Much thought, consideration and relationship investment is needed before that step is taken.

I'm sure you can have a tatoo elsewhere that will give you the feeling/knowing that you may need or want.  I personally think if its in a private place (not the forhead) it makes it more...exciting or personal.
At times I've fancied the idea of being physically marked by my owner however...in reality I dont think I'd let it happen.
As OrionTheWolf said, a lot of investment towards the relationship has to happen before one should think to do such a thing...even with that i'm not trusting/ballsy enough to go that far.

I personally dislike body modification but if you want that forever etched into your forehead and your Master is amenable, it's your body.

I was marked as  *****'s slave  in Hanzi characters on my left thigh when we'd been together nearly a year.

Imo, you shouldn't tattoo your face.

Face tattoos have serious social implications and issues that come with them. I know many masters who have their slave's nose pierced, but this can be taken out for jobs and family events. A tattoo is much more serious. IF I was interested in this, I'd be more inclined to put something very small  or something up under the hairline.

Tell you what.  Go ahead and get a henna tattoo on your face.  You will be unemployable and the subject of ridicule for maybe a week, after which it will come off and you can resume normal life.

Apocalypso -> RE: ownership tatoo (5/1/2009 3:10:05 AM)

I'm generally reasonably pro body modification.  But I would be very careful about getting a facial tattoo.  I've known several people who got them.  And all but one regrets it.

I hear tats that can't typically be covered by clothes are en vogue with the biker and gang crowd.  What are you waiting for.

I think that people who think of getting themselves a tattoo should be mature enough to make that decision....seriously, if you want to put that fantasy into reality- you aren't mature enough, even though you're 40[8|] but it's cool I suppose if you're confident about it..

I have to agree with DarkSteven on this one. the henna is temporary, and if you think you like it you can make it permenant at a later time. However (and I'm not an expert on henna) I have heard that even the temporary aspect of henna lasts much more than a week. I've heard that it can last up to a year. Normally, on women I'm against almost any tattoo that isn't relatively small and normally covered...more intimate than public.

subtlebutterfly -> RE: ownership tatoo (5/1/2009 8:35:20 AM)

Henna lasts about a month if I remember correctly. The "1 year" tattoo that was supposedly temporary turned out to be, more often than not, permanent and this one tattoo artist I know felt horrible about it when she discovered it and parents came back to the parlor one year later with their kids and showed her that it was still there.
There's no tattoo (that I know of) that lasts a year. There's some newish thing..invisible tattoo that supposedly glows in the dark but you can't see it by day, don't know anything about it though.

TaoWoman -> RE: ownership tatoo (5/1/2009 9:16:14 AM)

Consider face painting?

GreedyTop -> RE: ownership tatoo (5/1/2009 9:19:26 AM)

use a Sharpie.  it'll fade sooner than henna.

UV tattoos.  They glow in blacklight (of the type you get in nightclubs).  I'd strongly advise against getting them as facial tattoos however.  Some of the inks used may be carcinogenic.  There's also a significant risk of an allergic reaction.

xxfallenlove13xx -> RE: ownership tatoo (5/1/2009 9:39:49 AM)

just watch out for sharpie and the sun....you will have sharpie tanlines, so that would be so funny to see, it fades and then tanlines, i did this to my arm one summer in high school, yea  i just wanted to tan normal and get rid of the sharpie tat lol

GreedyTop -> RE: ownership tatoo (5/1/2009 9:42:55 AM)

tanning cream ;)

Lynnxz -> RE: ownership tatoo (5/1/2009 3:11:46 PM)

You know what? Fine, do it. Go get SLUT WHORE tattooed on your forehead. It's a brilliant idea. Absolutely nothing but good can come of it.

And you can see the UV tats in the daylight. Faint, but still there.

Me and mine would regard this as a terrible idea - firstly because we think tattoos tempt fate (we know others disagree and that's fine) and second because having a tattoo on your forehead would affect your day-to-day life quite drastically.

As an aside, henna tattoos will last varying lengths of time based on how they are applied and the person. They don't last much longer than a week or two on me because my body isn't hot-natured. If I wait for the paste to dry, put lemon on it and then wrap the part I'm henna-ing up with towels and seran wrap, it lasts much, much longer. Just be careful where you get your henna. Some people sell "black henna" that can actually be very dangerous.
