Over two years ago, during my first tenure here, I met my slave. At the time, I wasn't particularly interested in finding a sub to claim because I had enough local playmates to keep me happy, but something about the way he introduced and offered himself to me made me stop and consider it. He was wholly inexperienced but knew that this was the path for him. Soon after, we started communicating on chat, email and phone, and we developed such a chemistry that felt like we had known each other forever.

Earlier this month, I finally had the chance to go visit him in Kansas, where he lives. We were both anxious and excited as hell to finally see each other face-to-face. He picked me up from the airport and had made a sign for me to find him: it was "Goddess" written on a piece of cardboard. As soon as I laid eyes on his ear-to-ear smile, I knew that this was the best choice I could have ever made. It was possibly the best four and a half days we ever spent with another person.

I just wanted to share that with you. The experience meant so much to me, I hope to give others hope of finding someone they can really connect with, and build something long-lasting with.

That's great! CONGRATS!

I met mine here, too.

Not to rain on your parade, but people will never know if they're a match in real life until they've spent a significant amount of time actually together, in person. It takes a lot more than four days. Six to nine months is when the newness starts to wear off, and reality sets in. If you still fit together well after that amount of time in each other's presence, then you have a good chance of being compatible over the long term.

Considering that we've been in close communication (speaking almost every day) for the past two years, I have a lot more confidence in our relationship. Also considering that I am a long-term person (shortest relationship was about 6 months), I have even more confidence in my judgment of character and know that we will remain compatible for years to come. We both aim for him to come to the east coast and join my household when it becomes financially feasible; but looking at today's economic situation, who knows when that will be?

I and my devoted girl 'doves' met through here and though had been in daily contact for months it was not until that first meeting that either of us truly knew if it would work out. A thousand questions were answered without a word being spoken at that first embrace and it was quite simply one of those perfect moments in time when the world around us faded away. As time has passed sure we have had our clashes and stressful times but we are still together and seldom far apart.
