The manager of the Oakland Raiders was depressed.  His team needed a decent quarterback, and he couldn't get one any way.  Not in the draft, nor in free agency.

He turned on the news and was stunned to see, in coverage of the Iraq war, an insurgent that threw ten grenades, one after the other, with pinpoint accuracy, each one over 100 yards.  He decided to get that man for his QB.

At great personal risk, the manager went to Iraq and located him.  He made Ahmed an offer he couldn't refuse.

With Ahmed as their star QC, the Raiders became a team to be reckoned with.  They won all their remaining games and made the playoffs.  They crushed their opponents in the playoffs and then won the Super Bowl, and Ahmed was named MVP.  He was elated until he got the call from his mother:

"Ahmed, you good-for-nothing!  While you waste your time playing your stupid American sport, your family is going through hell!  Your sister was raped twice last week, and your brother was beat up five times.  Your father and I are terrified to leave our apartment.  I will NEVER forgive you for moving us to Oakland!"

If Al Davis reads this he's on the next flight to Iraq.
