i am not going argue who is right or wrong.. We both just feel differantly about the show... i respect your feelings, just does not mean i agree with them... i for one did not see it as negitive... It is just TV....

I like CSI, haven't seen the episode of topic, but read all of your posts and have to admit, from being a domme & a mother, plus a redneck,redhead & scorpio, if someone were ever to harm one of my children, NO man, NO God, would prevent me, from somehow someway making the SOB suffer as much pain as possible, be it with a whip, peeling his flesh from him and then skining even more off with a knife, then I would unconsentually castrate him cock, nuts n all, feeding them to him, before I blew his head off with what ever gun I had in my hands. So to me there isnt ever enough damage a mother/father could ever do to person, be it on TV or real.

anyone hurt my daughter I'd not outsource the pain. We caught that show last night and loved it. It's rare when we see any TV show "live". Most of the CSI's we have watched were reruns. We've seen "Lady Heather's Box" and loved the end where Grissom pulls up to her house and then it fades to black. I took Grissom telling her to Stop at the end of last nights as something between those 2. I would see Grissom as a bottom in the relationship, if there were one. He's so controlling in the job that he lives, there would have to be some sort of release for that other than riding the rollercoaster. I could see Heather talking about safe words and Grissom sayins "Wouldn't stop be just as effective?" in that smart ass condesending way that he has. I could then see the scene going on and on without him stopping her. That would make his telling her to stop mean that much more. Then again we had smoked a couple of joints during that show, so that could have been it...

I have to agree that I LOVE Lady Heather and Grissom. It doesnt matter what is factual (whip) or not. If we knew all the medical terms I am sure we would find things there that werent quite right, but what the heck, they sound good and move the story along. We just know all the BDSM facts so we notice those. I had no problems with Heather and the whip at the end. IF she had been an expert marksman she could have shot him just as effectively and as slowly. I took it as using your expertise to get the job done. And yes, the fool that touched my child would suffer to the greatest extent of MY capabilities not necessarily to the caprices of the law.

i agree Lady Scarlett. my husband and i both enjoy that epispod of CSI. and God help the Man who would ever hurt one my children or grandkis, ( and i am a pacificist ) But what we like is at then end when Grissom showed up did not take the whip away from her, but grab it and took the place of the dom, and held as though he was doing after care. I would love to see more involment with him and her

It is always gratifying to me when the entertainment industry portrays a dominant as a real human being, and not just some bizarre freak of nature. CSI does this very well, in that they focus on the intricate levels of the psyche and in a more adult fashion that other television shows. And I suppose that because of CSIs vast popularity, they can explore these subjects without the worry of offending the delicate sensibilities of the vanilla public. But we also have to realize that these characters are purely ficticious and that they are portrayed by actors. All that aside, kudos to the producers of CSI for presenting a taboo subject without prejudice or judgement.
