I don't find it annoying because it is at least a positive statement, and may even be subjectively true to the one speaking. Mostly it boils down to subs too damned lazy (stupid, illiterate, selfish) to read profiles. Mine says poly, mine says no slaves, mine specifies assorted hates/dislikes… and I get morons looking to be caged in my basement, fools looking for their one-and-only Mistress Right, and self-centered no-nothings who are all about heels and nylons. Why have a profile at all? Compliments are nice but I don't care how many guys like my long hair from the other side of the continent or the planet. Which is why I finally took down every single photo. Not getting any mail these days. Result? I may just quit the damn site. The five traits that drive me crazy: 1. Not accepting no for any reason. When I say no, I mean no. To use the old saying, "What part of NO don't you understand??? 2. Having the " I am a worm, and want to be treated like crap by you" mode. Sorry, not interested. When I get these in my mail, I send a "Thank you, but no thank you" response back to the sub/slave. 3. One liner messages. I wonder if this is something that afflicts you, or do you just don't have the time to sit down and write a decent introduction?? If you are looking for a Domme/Mistress, take the time to show what kind of person you are. 4. Possessing a "do me" attitude. If you need to act like this, then I suggest that you might want to procure the services of a Pro Domme. (Pros are great, I am just not one of them. ) It is my decision if I want to interact with you. 5. Asking for phone numbers after 2 emails. Sorry, I don't give out my phone number to anyone who asks....I will do that when I feel it is the right time. Some may feel this is a bit nit-picky, but this is what I feel. I may be repeating some pet peeves that others have but here goes: People using honorifics (To me, they're a very personal thing and a form of address that is earned, not presumed) Do-me sub requests Whining or pissy replies when I point out that the person has made a do-me sub request Supposed Doms who demand submission or tout their super-fabulousness without even having a rapport Anyone sending anything requesting or otherwise acting as if they know something about me and what I want when they've not even read my profile People who think that a single word or sentence is a great way to solidify a relationship (Okay, so that is more than 5) Oh, I will say that after checking out another 'vanilla' site recently, the manners of folks on CM are STELLAR compared with the general internet population on social sites. I think of this whole 'dating' thing like I was 'marketing me', partly cuz I'm such a pervert that I like marketing & tend to kinda think in those terms anyways . ... . &, in marketing, a 'decent' 'hit rate' is something on the order of one-in-a-thousand . . . . . . That is, out of a thousand eyeballs that look at any given 'marketing message', only maybe one is gonna react. Then there's also this whole thing that those 'eyeballs' typically have to look at that product's marketing message something on the order of two or three dozen times to actually take action . . . . . . & that paradigm's just for selling 'soap powder' -- what I'm marketing here is a lifetime prize of Me! & I'm a one-in-a-million custom entity, with a potential market-base of ~6,700 persons who could be my . . . . . . I'm almost ready to post my own list on domme emails/replies that might be worthy of a list...(I suppose I should go check the sub forum)...but I'd like to ask - these lists focus on the males that reply to you. How about when a female sub contacts you? What annoys you consistently with women? I know I don't fit anything on the lists above, especially since as a writer, I write lengthy emails. I don't think I could send a one-liner ever. And since I'm not sure what my do-me list would be, it's unlikely I'm every going to just ask for that. Hum. I'll go head over to the subs and see if there is a list there...but to the Dommes...why can't you - I mean seriously - just meet in person for a coffee before any sex talk/your laundry list of what you demand? Maybe I do need to start a list...

Oh, LAgirlsub, when it's a pink or a red in my mailbox, it usually means there's a higher-than-average probability of it being pleasant . .. .. For me it is overwhelmingly guys that seem to be socially- & / or linguistically-impaired in approaching . . . . . . (& mind, I like the socially- & linguistically-impaired; especially nerds & geeks, but that's a whole other thread . . . . You know, that's a good question because I don't know. I think a few were males, but I hope for example there is one 'woman' on here and I would hope she is a she...but I guess I wouldn't really know if any were who they say they are since they won't meet me in person. So 'real' domme women - we'll say in general - won't talk sexually right away?
