Status: offline 		I haven't been in the lifestyle very long, at least on a physical level.  I have only had the opportunity to hang out and play with 3 Doms.  However, the one that I submitted to first has a special place in my heart and in my mind, I'm not in love with him, but I love him.  Our relationship was/is just a casual relationship, meeting once a week or once every two weeks and playing.  Now W/we have taken it to a higher level and he is training me more intensely and I am his possession.

Has anyone else had this?  That their first Dom that they submitted to has a special place in their heart?

But there have been a couple of guys I've played with that I consider dearest friends, who I do love in some way.

Not like I love my husband though :)

Status: offline 		the first person i ever submitted to holds a small corner of my heart and i'm still very fond of him though i'm also very glad things ended when they did. We're still friends but oh my gosh... Master holds all of my heart and it's a good feeling

Status: offline 		my first Dom is still a part of our lives, is almost as important a friend as Master Andy is, and we care a great deal for each other. Both Andy and he are very good friends, and he knows just how much this man means to me. i cannot envision a time when the respect and love i have for this man would diminish.

i have to qualify the above by saying that he was more than a casual play partner, and helped me immensely as my already failing marriage crumbled, such help and compassion i hope i have returned in some small way over time.

Status: offline 		I am sitting here trying to bring the memory forward of who my first top was.  I am glad I don't remember if I can't remember. I do remember my first kiss though...oh fuck yes...it was good and very memorable.  I was about 21.

Status: offline 		My first Dom does not have a place in my heart. My mentor on the other hand does remain in my heart. I was not in love with him, but i loved him and learned a lot from him. The one who is now and will ever ramain in my heart is my wonderful Master. Every person you care/ have cared about leave footprints on your heart.

This, I can relate to.  Reserving a spot for them to reside in (in my heart), I do not.  It's my way of moving on.  Of course I am affected by those who have received my love and who have touched me in some way, and those lessons stay with me.  But if all these past loves have real estate in my heart, how will there ever be room for someone new?  It's my own personal perspective, obviously, but I have found my capacity to move forward and love deeply means escorting the others out the back door, thanking them for their effect on me, and letting go of them.

Status: offline 		My first Master holds a very special place in my heart. W/we were friends first before beginning our other relationship and are still friends to this day. What i feel for him does not take anything away from my current Master. Each are unique in thier own ways. and both hold a spot in my heart.

Status: offline 		Yes.My first Dom was an obsession. I did not understand it til later. So maybe it was sub frenzy and I never heard that term but it explains the unexplainable of how I could have fallen so hard for someone I didnt know all that long. But wow and yea. I'll lways love him though I am trying very hard to break contact. He sees me as a buddy as he is engaged to someone else. He has no idea how much it hurts when he talks of their marvelous life. I havent been answering his e-mails as I wish him well in hs marraige when it happens. I just dont want to be an online buddy to a married man.

Status: offline 		Every so often i think of the first experience i had with fond memories, as it's what got me hooked on BDSM.  But the first Dominant i ever had?  He will always hold a special place in my heart forever.  And the way He swatted me on the butt cheek "just because," every time W/we first saw E/each O/other.....i miss that sometimes.  Sometimes i still wish it could've worked out in the long run, but it didn't and that's okay.
