"the Heritage Foundation"

There`s your problem right there.

~~~~~~~~~
Does anybody know that the primary and seemingly only credential one needed to get one of those plum jobs recreating the nation of Iraq(early on,before the bushies left the horses bolt)was a recamendation from "The Heritage Foundation".
After bushco and the neo-cons killed American capitalism,the Heritage Foundation is about as discredited as a think tank can get.The communist party has more credibility than the Heritage Foundation.
Funny, that either side can compare and contrast through words but, still mostly supposition either way. As what I assume must be a liberal point of view (MY OWN) perhaps we could start with, I am my brothers keeper, simple, and really fairly complete.
My views, no differnt from those that sit across the idealogical divide are deeply ingrained in what I was taught as a youth it makes mine sometimes right and sometimes wrong. Most of the links are a bit extreme to one side or the other and not encompassing situations mostly just dislike and opinionated. The Mark Levines, Sean Hannity's Ann Coulters et al of the world make it hard on liberals to understand the conservatives as do the ultra liberals like Franken, Michael Moore et al make it tough for those of conservative thought. There is a lot of wisdom in one link, Robert Fulghum wrote about his lessons in kindergarten and  he was to a great deal, correct!
Neologisms elude you?
Ones without context or definition do, yes.
This thread is a laugh riot!  So many hypocritical ideologues lambasting other ideologues for being ideologues!
It’s them!  The others!  They’re the ones to blame!  Not us!
For fuck’s sake.
How little you understand, Grasshopper.
The problem is not conservatives or liberals.  It is not nazis or communists.  It is not white people or black people.  It is not christians, muslims or whatever.
The problem is the human animal.
The problem is human nature.
I'm curious, if I had not made the exact same post on this thread as on the other - how would you have responded?
Differences in American political philosophy are  best understood without any television anywhere near you.  Unless you're watching South Park, the Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Family Guy or the Simpsons.  And those really only give you a contemporary perspective, IMHO -
Ya can't even hazard a guess?  Go ahead give it a try.  Introspection can be unpleasant but it has value.
Is the irony deliberate or do you fail to see it at all?
I do hope that your shares in Amazon.com don't lose too much of their value :-) .
I don't own any stock, but it's sure been fun watching the value of my house tank.
K.
Ain't that the truth.  I wonder who got nailed the worst; the person totally in stocks or the person totally in real estate.
I don't know... I'm just glad I paid for my house cash on the barrelhead. The only investments I make are in local businesses. So I'm sitting pretty at least for the next few years. Beats me why I should be doing so well... after all, isn't the guy bitching about his poor life choices the one who keeps telling me that he's somehow superior, because he's based his life around a bunch of pulp paperbacks?
Good luck with that.
Yep I do know.
Whether you paid cash for your home or not, it still has a value that may go up or down. You didn't seem to know that in your post.
Don't know many who drive old ford rangers that are "sitting pretty" but I am sure there may be some. Local businesses are my clients, and they over extend with credit and poor cash flow, just like the big ones, so that has no bearing on anything.
You mention someone bitching, but you only use that word because it is something you disagree with, and it is also ficticious because I do not see any complaints really (other than one about home values going down and that is a fact unles you want to prove otherwise). Then the shot at the end, that has nothing to do with any of the discussion, but I will say that a search of the last 50 posts by you and the one you took a shot at, shows much.
You have proven a point from the OP though, and that gives me quite a chuckle. Thanks for the laughs.
