Ummmmm, I aim to be above-average in lots of things -- intelligence, 'common sense', logic, rationality, ability to argue, writing & speaking ability, confidence in myself, & so on & so forth . . . . . . So. I am better than half the people on the planet, that's my goal & I feel a certain arrogance in knowing that I generally achieve that goal . .. ..
But. I don't necessarily have to attach negative stuff to the term 'arrogant' . . . .. .
&. Arrogant is one of those words like 'bitch' that frequently gets directed at me by someone else when I'm behaving in a strong way that serves me but not the one throwing the epithets around . . . . . & as such, I wear those erstwhile labels of censure with pride . . . . . .
