I am just going to enthuse (is that even a word????????)
I got to see Dan Reed Last night... and he ROCKED. I have to admit, I wasn't a huge fan of The Network first time around as such, but Darcy was/is and took me to my second visit to see Mr Reed who was fab as he was last november.
As an added bonus, we got to see him play with Tommy Denander and - the so cool and incredibly hot ('sok, Darcy forgives me) Jeff Scott Soto who sings like a GOD. The crowd were wonderful and the venue was small and intimate and very cool. Dan was so funny and he played fantastically and I am so drawn to his music now. His songs make me ache at times.
We get to see WaroftheWorlds in a few weeks, which we are all really looking forward to as well but the big thing is that we have four yummy and priceless tickets for NiN!!!!!!!! (Yeah so I am a show off) Possibly one of the last shows they will play (cries) in forever, but it will be awesome!!!!!!!!!! And a big congratulations to Trent - who is a GOD - on his forthcoimg marriage. Ach, and who thought he would be forever the single man?
Is anyone else gigging this year?
