im wanting to create a "mistress" sound sceme the ladies computers. but not being much of the submissive type, i find comming up with potentionally erotic yet submissive quotes/quips, difficult at best.
i need ideas for every general function. from errors ideas to very brief general bits for the "astrierisk". (whip sound maybe?)
anyway, ive got a startup and shutdown but that is nearly as far as i can go without further help and am willing to share the finished product with any that help me in this endevor.
thank you.

eroticly suggestive like so:
startup: Hello mistress, you really know how to turn me on (ecco last word)
shutdown: it has been a Pleasure servicing you mistress

those are the two ive made. if you wish to Hear them, give me an email addie. thus far they have been rather well recieved. ;-)
but i digress, i need ideas for the other windows effects. something that hasnt been done preferibly.

Being one who favors Linux/Unix, I used to have among my custom Windows sounds --
startup: blood-curdling scream
shutdown: loud orgasm

All moot now, since I haven't had a machine running Windows in some months, plus I have a kid old enough to ask "What's that sound the computer's making, daddy?"

I don't really value my computer as a submissive. Sure, it follows directions well, but it doesn't seem to care about me personally, and it appears to be totally frigid. It's also incapable of anything more than cyber, and that bores me to tears.

I am sure some post-pubescent 13 year old has written computer noises for Linux...

The only noises I have occur when I get a mail notification on my messenger service.

If I understand this right it is a sub/slave talking to a Dom/ina.

Critical stop "Mistress, I'm sorry. I could not stop myself. Please forgive me." (/note that is not good, neither is a critical stop.)

Menu drop down "Yes, Mistress, what do you command?"

Buddy log in "Mistress, company has arrived."

These can get old fast.

Try short ones like "Yes, Ma'am", "Please, Ma'am", etc.

Being a Trekkie - I once created a sound scheme using audio quotes from various Voyager characters. The problem is that each time I would get the very same quote. Windows has no way to 'rotate' quotes through the sound scheme. It gets old quick hearing Janeway saying 'Engage' each time I started a program.

What worked best for me was short, quick bleeps and bloops - each of which had it's own meaning. They were short enough to not be annoying - and it took years before I got tired of 'em.

I'd suggest that instead of voice, you use audio of whips, floggers, crops, bats - and the associated gasps and yelps to go along with it. The crack of a whip could signal a critical stop, the smack of a paddle and a moan could be incoming mail.

All it would take is a sub and a tape recorder - you can play it back into your sound card.

Think of how much fun you could have getting each sound *just* right!

@iwillserveu: yes. you are correct in your assesment of the idea. not Being a sub, it is hard for me to come up with good ones.
the ones you just provided are some good ones. think ill use variants of them. =)

still looking for more however. ild like to have two solid ideas for every standard windows sound bit used. =]

interesting Bracket. but wha would you like "him" to say or grovel for in an error message? something simple like sounds of violance happening upon a person and his screams or pain? or something else perhaps......

I've noticed a lot of comments along the lines of "I'm not a sub so I don't know what to say"

I gotta say I don't get it. To me, figuring out little sound bites along this line has nothing to do with being a dominant/submissive person. It's more about imagination. Heck, I'm not a dominant person, but I can think of dominant things to say :)

I guess I just don't get why "not being a sub" prevents one from coming up with stuff like this.

(No disparagment meant here Dwit. I can tell you'rejust asking for more input, but I've noticed this on other threads, too. "I'm not a submissive so..." abuot stuff that isn't really mind-set related....)

[size=2Hi dwit, I just thought of one. I don't know what you are looking for, what type of service she has. But while I was driving today it tinkled my Dominant funny bone.
What about this for "mail"??? Mistress, permission to speak? and a whimper when the computer asked if she is sure she wants to delete mail? Just a thought. Sundew

I thought of a couple more sounds and possible uses for them. A broken sigh, male voice of course for files done. For a request if you are sure you want to do this? A pleading "please". Still thinking, always thinking.
Laughing, ah iwill, quipping fingers, enjoyable to see them again. Sundew

Wicked wink, Hi Beckett. I thought of another one, could be used when the "password" isn't long enough, ...."more please" laughing or maybe you could think of a use for the beg. Sundew

M.Dwit-

A few years ago I set up my laptop with such a theme. The best, least annoying thin I came up with was made by spilting up a whipcrack/echo and a 'oh!' exclamation. I used the first part of the whipcrack for 'menu' the second part for 'select' and the 'oh!' for starting a program.

So opening a program from 'start' went 'Crack-POW'-'oh!'. It still sounds kinda cool.

Stay warm,
Lawrence
