I remember someone said once that there was a culture of people with powerful occupations yearning to experience submission. The problem is that if they are these really powerful people they tend to set their own schedule which is a strange kind of submission on their terms and timetable. I didn't really like what that notion said about the rest of us either in terms of our everyday lives, i.e. those of us not so rich and powerful.

Most fantasies have already been put out there so I can't think of much that is uncommon.

I had a fantasy a while back where I would be naked and tied to a slab of rock in the middle of a cave and on the walls of the cave would be just a lineup of naked men chained to the walls, all horny as hell and I could choose which one's could be unchained to come over and please me while the rest had to watch and wait their turn... if they got it. If they were known, the world would look at me in a very different manner. Besides, most of them are totally unrealistic and unfulfillable.

I have to agree with cat, I expect the word "common" to be used by behavioural scientists who have done the appropriate research. Your idea, that anybody here would know which of their "original" (huh?) fantasies are common, shows how wide of the mark you are. It is like somebody beginning a talk with "it is well known". I have no idea which of my fantasies are common, nor do I particularly care. They're mine, the knowledge that 4.5 other horseheads think the same thing is not going to intrinsically make me happier,  and if your point is to have a sort of a list (what's a sort of list??) then why not scour the forums here and elsewhere, and make one. A list that has entries purely because "Joey says" is kind of a non-starter, methinks. I should add that, the longer I spend in science, the more I understand there are fewer commonalities than it would seem.

I'm curious to know what your sample size was for the research you conducted to come to such a broad, sweeping conclusion. Or do you have sound, solid scientific evidence of such claims? If so, I would be very interested in seeing it.
