Vaughner -> Trivia D vs. s, Game-VI (5/9/2009 1:27:54 PM)

Herein begins Game-VI of the Dominant versus submissive Random Trivia game, and below I shall explain the rules of the game as review for our past players and information for any new players who wish to join.

I will ask a random Trivia question, this question is drawn from whatever topic happens to pop into my mind at the time when a new question is due.  However once in awhile I will intentionally change up in order to avoid rutting the contest in a specific topic.

Dominants play for the Dominant team.
submissives play for the submissive team, unless ordered by their Masters to award their points to the Dominants.
Switches may play for either team, but choose carefully.  Once you have picked your team, in the interest of fair play I cannot allow team switching afterward.

A correct answer to the question will score 2 points for your team.  A correct answers that "prempts" the sought answer, will score you three points.

For example, if I ask who was the World's First Billionaire, the recognized answer is Rockerfeller.  However if you happen to know the names of one of the few Romans who held over a billion of that Empire's currency, you have prempted the answer and thus score 3 points.  You cannot prempt an answer after the correct answer has already been given.

As it suits me, I will sometimes ask questions with an optional 1 or 2 point bonus possibility.

Each question is given with an "Expiration Time", if by this time no one has given the correct answer, I will give the answer and move on to the next question.  The Expiration Time is also a good indicator of when a new question will be posted as I cannot monitor the board if I am running out for Cigarettes, Food, or what have you.

It is against the rules to use Wikipedia, Google, or other sources to find answers as this is a Trivia game and not a research game.  However as it would be quite illegal for me to monitor players for compliance, all who take part are on the honor system not to break the rules.

If you wish to dispute an answer, then you may use Google and other sources to find evidence of your dispute, due to complaints by past players about Wikipedia as an open-source tool, it cannot be accepted as a valid citation for proof.

Please assist me in keeping proper score by listing the team you play for each time you give an answer.

Bita is correct with New York City,
Dominants: 0
submissives: 2

Next Question
The math equation X^n + Y^n=Z^n, where n >2 (X to the power of n, plus Y to the power of n, equals Z to the power on n) is a famous mathmatical theory that has commonly been seen in TV shows such as Star Trek, The Simpsons, Dr. Who, and many others.  (Also seen as A^n+B^n=C^n; n>2)

In either case, what is the name of this famous math formula that had no solutions for many centuries?

As this is a particularly obscure question it is worth 3 points.

Question Expires: 7:30PM

MasterG2kTR -> RE: Trivia D vs. s, Game-VI (5/9/2009 3:12:38 PM)

Fermat's Theorem

Vaughner -> RE: Trivia D vs. s, Game-VI (5/9/2009 3:16:10 PM)

I'll take the 2....this wall  [sm=banghead.gif]  is starting to make my head hurt....

and of course score for the Dom's

Vaughner -> RE: Trivia D vs. s, Game-VI (5/9/2009 3:30:40 PM)

The proper answer is
"Fermat's Last Theorum" it is called his last Theorum because it was the last one he proposed that was not either solved, or disproven by himself or other math experts within his life time.  To this day while there are some theoretical solutions no one has yet come up with a solution that all of the best mathmatical minds agree on.

Dominants: 2
submissives: 2

Next Question
I am hungry and about to go get dinner (literally) I will be going to the oldest fast-food chain in the US.  Where am I going?

Question Expires: 7:30PM EST
Will check for answers when I get back.
