SubstructureVan -> What does feminization mean to you? What do femdoms get from the practice? (5/9/2009 6:12:21 PM)

This is obviously a bit of a leading question, so please forgive me. I am a crossdresser/fetishist (duh, just take a peak at my pics), and I've also spent considerable time trying to figure out whys and hows of "what the heck caused this?", so I plainly have my views on the subject (at least as it relates to me and my kinks, just check out my journal). So the question is what do women get out of the admittedly very broad subject of feminization? What does it mean to you? How does it manifest itself in your kink and possible vanilla life with your sub?

CatdeMedici -> RE: What does feminization mean to you? What do femdoms get from the practice? (5/9/2009 7:14:38 PM)

It means nothing to Me, I do not support or incorporate it in My relationship.

NOTE: I did not say, I condemn it, it just isn't for Me.

GYPZYQUEEN -> RE: What does feminization mean to you? What do femdoms get from the practice? (5/9/2009 7:21:40 PM)

FOR me I love the thought that a man wishes to reach out to his feminine side..an inner woman..another part..

I do not use it as humiliation so then if that is how a sub sees it
it does not usually work for us..

Plato wrote of the OMIPODS...where we had been both genders and were cut in half and now forever seek our other half..I love this idea..it speaks of the yearning..

WHAT I GET is a sense of  nurturing( mothering) a man along in his feminine, explorations, fullfilling that while I get to be with a man-woman omnipod..which is HOT to me

THe men who I have feminized and went along on the journey with began to bloom and become whole..build their esteem and more...most exciting

AS for finding out what "CAUSED" it?
It is not an afflication/disease..it is a part of YOU that you wish to explore...
In seeking a cause you may see it as a problem..?
I would hope for you a detour from that to a place of
"this is part of me"

I find it absolutely fasinating that men and women wish to explore this...and in my studies and interaction with different cultures all over  the world.I have seen many RITUALS where men dress as women and vice versa..as rituals for healing ,growth and change.

I would love to develop a weekend workshop around it for men....

I am attempting to understand this too. I have recently met a man who admitted that he dreams/fantasizes about crossdressing. Not knowing much about it I felt it was a way to get in touch with his feminine side. I have agreed to help him explore this and hope he feels attractive and sexy.

He told me that he fantasizes about being "made to dress like a woman". Now I wonder if he is seeking a different experience. Guess we will have to explore this further.

I'm into it...personally I think it takes a strong man to be willing to explore his feminine side. Not sure if I understand fully the psychology behind it, but I just go with the flow.

LadyPact -> RE: What does feminization mean to you? What do femdoms get from the practice? (5/10/2009 5:01:07 AM)

I'm in leagues with Cat.  I have no desire for it in My submissive whatsoever and I have no use for it.  There's no interest or benefit in it for Me.

I also can't say much to the theory of it being used for males to express their feminine side.  If I had a female submissive, I wouldn't find the need to dress her in a certain way to express her masculine side.

Domin8tingUrDrmz -> RE: What does feminization mean to you? What do femdoms get from the practice? (5/10/2009 5:07:23 AM)

Does nothing for me either. I prefer boys to look like boys. If I wanted to have a femme sub, I'd advertise for one.

Those of you who enjoy it, more power to ya. Just please, don't come knocking on my c-mail box.

MsFlutter -> RE: What does feminization mean to you? What do femdoms get from the practice? (5/10/2009 5:47:56 AM)

For a number of reasons, I'm a neutral party. Not sure I'd know what to do with an interest in crossdressing/feminization but I'd treat it with respect. Is it part of my kink? Not at the moment. I never say never.

I remember when Otter remarked on his first outing en femme. It didnt set off any imaginings in *my* head but I was happy that it made him so happy.

I'm rather afraid of putting my foot wrong relative to the world of crossdressing and transfolks. If it weren't for Stella, I wouldn't be so aware of what it means to the individual. I have this horrifying image in my head where I'm reduced to "Well hello - very nice to meet you. Would you stay right here for just a moment while I read up on what to say next??"

malloves69 -> RE: What does feminization mean to you? What do femdoms get from the practice? (5/10/2009 7:24:24 AM)

no interest in  it at all ..does nothing for me ..in fact i think some men dressed up as women who are they trying to kid thinking they look good at all ? whatever floats your boat i guess but i will pass ....mal [:)]

I love this post because it is exactly how I feel, especially this part " went along on the journey with began to bloom and become whole..build their esteem and more...most exciting".  That is exactly what happened to my boy once he dropped the male Dom mask he was wearing and embraced his submissive side AND his fem side. He is such a happy, laid back person now and it makes me happy and proud to see him this way.

In general I would say it is not really one of my main interests, but with some people the chemistry was so right and seeing them transformed (and being the one transforming them) can be quite a rush. So it does depend.

I have to say that some guys look so marvelous and have such great legs (though one does have to wax them, teeheehee) that it's sometimes hard not to be jealous.

I'm a bit on the fence with this one, I wouldn't say it's a "must" or even something I do crave, but given the right mood and chemistry, absolutely yes, though then I do want to go the whole nine yards, clothing, makeup, coach them how to walk in heels, the right movements, all that. The "put on some ill fitting dress, a bad wig and smear some lipstick on - now you're a TV, never mind the beard" is a turn off, but the transformation, getting all the details right, that is something that I really like with the right partner.

does strapon training go with the wardrobe change ? [:)]  hey if your going to dressup your sub as female ..might as well take it a step further in training his asshole how to take a big cock then too right ladys ? smile [:)] shaving or waxing his cock and ass if its hairy is a must too [:)] my mistress had me try on a pair of panties a while ago but thats as far as she took it ..they felt good on ecspecially after she shaved my cock and ball area ..but nothing else became of it ..mal [:)]  i just think i would look like a fool being transformed because thats how i see other men who try and play dressup ...like i said whatever floats your boat ...just dont think its for me ..mal [:)]

LadyConstanze -> RE: What does feminization mean to you? What do femdoms get from the practice? (5/10/2009 11:54:57 AM)

mal, no matter if somebody is into strap-on or not (and I won't get into it as you are possibly just looking for a bit of titillation), I find your posts a bit too graphic for my taste, whenever I read them I get this desire to shower again and have a mind wash.

I'm not overly squirmish, but if I want graphic details, then there is porn - you can at least rely on the fact that the actors there are reasonably attractive.

malloves69 -> RE: What does feminization mean to you? What do femdoms get from the practice? (5/10/2009 12:25:33 PM)

how do you know if im reasonably attractive or not ? [:)] my posts might be graphic ..if you dont like them then dont read them [:)] easy enough or havent you figured that out yet ? [:)] 51 and still having fun ..and not afraid to talk about it [:)] mal

LadyConstanze -> RE: What does feminization mean to you? What do femdoms get from the practice? (5/10/2009 12:37:15 PM)

There is a difference about talking in private and putting intimate details on a message board where people automatically see them, if they want or not. Sometimes leaving a bit to the imagination is actually a turn on, at least for women.

Most of us are having fun, but we don't feel the need to describe it in graphic detail, and consider this, how many dommes might just think "Uh rather not, because he'll tell the whole of CM, terribly indiscrete..." So you might be missing out on a lot of fun, but then again, maybe you get your fun from trying to convince us how much fun you have?

That's why I use the "hide" function.  I don't mind some graphic details, especially if they are amusing, but the same posters posting the same thing over and over becomes tedious fairly quickly.  The "hide" button is your friend.

I'm glad I'm not the only one.

That being said, as a rather gender-fluid person...I don't necessarily think one's feminine side is best expressed by stereotypically dressing as them.  I have been at my most feminine headspace in just a pair of bluejeans and a t-shirt--male ones, btw.  On the other hand, there have been times when I've been dressed at my most femme and I've been in a rather masculine headspace.  My Owner and I do not engage in feminization, at least not feminization as it is often described within these boards.  It's not a humiliating thing.  It's also not a thing that makes me necessarily more or less submissive, because one's gender does not dictate their power preferences.

For me, it's all about the headspace and which side of the yin-yang--if any--I'm feeling at the time.  Gender is an imaginary construct anyway, we might as well enjoy playing with it.  I have a feminine side and it's just as beautiful as my masculine side.  As a human being, I am an amalgamation of both--as is most everybody else.   I've always disliked the idea that we have to choose one side just because of our plumbing.  I'm happy with my sex...I love being male.  My gender...well...I don't pick sides.

I prefer a male show his softer side from the male side. Men have their own gentle side, which to me is quite disarming. I see no need for a man to take on female characterists to acheive and quell the need to show his "softer side". I enjoy a tame lion..not a pussycat :) Count me amoung those femdomms who are not interested in a feminized man.

allthatjaz -> RE: What does feminization mean to you? What do femdoms get from the practice? (5/10/2009 2:14:39 PM)

I haven't read the other posts because I wanted to post without influence.
When I first started to meet T-girls and X dressers in clubs, I was a bit bewildered, if not a little uncomfortable with them but the more I got to know them and open myself up to there fetish, the more I understood what happy, liberated people they are. I find T-girls especially to be very open minded, un-bitchy and refreshingly nice people and when I was looking for a relationship I would of been more than happy if that person had been a T-girl.
I don't feel any more dominant towards a T-girl/X dresser just because of what they are and I don't ever see a T-girl as a man dressed as a woman but as a person who can be feminine sometimes and masculine at others. I don't like it when some T-girls approach me in lesbian mode thinking Im going to drop my knickers just because they are one of the girls. I much prefer to spend girly time with them doing girly stuff.
For me its important that I know both sides and even more importantly, that she feels very comfortable in her feminine skin.

Maria
