The Dominants and submissives are now tied for all time wins in the Trivia series.
As review for old players, and briefing for new players herein I shall explain the rules.
I will ask a random trivia question from whatever topic pops into my head when it is time for a new question. (As this can lead to focus on a certain category, players are free to suggest a new category when they answer)
A correct answer will score 2 points for your team. If you have an answer that is technically correct but is different from the sought answer, you can score a preeemption for you team and thus be awarded 3 points.
Example: In Game-VI I asked what group of Greeks known for their Theatre stayed with the Spartans in the final day of the Battle of Thermopolaye (spell it how you will). The sought answer was the Thespians, however the Thespians were not the only ones that remained and two players listed the second group thus scoring preemption. If a question seems vague, or even misleading odds are a chance for preemption is being offered.
Dominants play for the Dominant Team.
submissive play for the submissive Team unless ordered by their Masters to play for the Dominants.
Switches may play for either team, but choose carefully, once you pick a team you are stuck with it.
PLEASE LIST YOUR TEAM EVERY TIME YOU ANSWER.
This is a Trivia game, not a research game. All players are on the Honor-System not to use the internet to look up answers they do not know. If you wish to dispute a given answer, then you may use search engines to find proof of your dispute. Due to player complaints about Wikipedia as an open-source program, it cannot be allowed here to cite for proof.
Every question is given an Expiration Time, if by this time no one has provided the correct answer, I will provide it, and we will move on to the next question.
The First Team to 35 wins the game.
Or
If three consecutive questions go without a correct answer, the win automatically goes to whatever team is winning.
