Status: offline 		So last night, I had the honor of speaking with a beautiful Godess at the DomCon LA fetish ball about what is being passed off as FemDomme porn these days. Her statement was that most of what is available right now is being produced with men in mind, rather than women.

As I am in the early stages with my parter of creating a website of this genre, and wanting to create something that there isn't already a glut of on the 'net, my question to all you beautiful ladies is...

When it comes to FemDomme porn specifically:
What do you like that is available right now?
What would you like to see that doesn't seem to be available?
What do you think there is already "too much" of?

Your opinions and thoughts are much appreciated!!

Status: offline 		The reason there may be so much of what is out there, is because the market is mostly men and they want the fantasy or extreme.  Who is buying dictates a lot of it I think.  I explored some of this and wrote different stories.  Some I knew were extreme and some that had more of the emotional aspects and that went into the emotional dynamic's of what was happening.  I would then talk to those who would comment or email me over the stories.

Those that actually bought stories or porn were more extreme and wanted the more extreme.  Those that liked the more emotional and less extreme, were in relationships and didn't join the pay web sites and rarely bought porn.  I did find some who would be willing to buy better porn, but didn't get that information from everyone. I had quite the fan club started.  I was encouraged to start my own site for my stories, by many of them.  But really, from what I was seeing, the market is what it is because of who will pay and what they want.

I don't buy porn and might if I thought I would get what I want out of it.  The thing is, you don't know how stupid the shit will be and you do know that most if it is stupid.  I am not wasting money to find out.

Status: offline 		Very true. Which was why I posed my question. What would you like to see? What would perhaps make you interested in at least checking it out to see if it's something you might consider buying?

I'm not concerned with making a bunch of stupid stuff that is already out there. I know men buy the most. What I am concerned with is making something that people who have been largely ignored can enjoy and enjoy and connect with. As it was put last night, it does nothing for me to see a girl chewing on another girls strap-on. That's a man fantasy.

I want to know what other women, especially women of power, fantasize about.

Status: offline 		I like a story in with the sexual things.  I want something in bdsm/sexual or emotional that I can relate to on all levels.  Spanking scenes with someone close, not the pizza guy... despite a thread I once started! lol  I want realistic.  It doesn't have to be something I do or want to do, but it needs to be based in reality for me.  So I would say just about anything realistic would be enjoyable.

And... something where the dominant doesn't have to wear heels and tight sexy dominatrix wear! lol

Status: offline 		The BDSM porn that excites me most is the sort of productions being filmed over at ExtremeBoyz - they usually focus the camera on the sub, often to the point that the Dom becomes invisible, which allows me to put myself in that space.  The subs visibly and audibly emote what they're feeling.  The camera focuses on non-traditional angles that let me see sexy things like muscle-tensing, fist-clenching, flinching, lip-biting, leaning towards or away from an impending blow.

What I'd like to see that I don't get much of: attractive subs - for me that means young-ish, mostly hairless, and vaguely athletic - YMMV.  Genuine connection with affection and respect between Dom and sub.  Genuine power exchange.  FemDoms in sexy COMFORTABLE clothing.  Film that DOESN'T end with the ineveitable hand-job/vaginal sex and the "sub" cumming all over the "Dom." Male subs requesting something and actually being told "no," and having that "no" mean something more than just a *delay* in his gratification.  Film in which *if* protocol is introduced, it continues to be enforced and adhered to.  Strong, powerful subs who don't need to submit, but want to.  Subs and Doms both genuinely excited by what they're doing.

In addition to reading some of the past threads about this, my only recommendation is that you do your research.  The reality is that the market size is too small to produce the quality and nature of the content that women (not men) would buy.  Most women won't buy it, period.  I watch (and pay for) a ton of porn compared to most women.  Like many other femdoms, I turn to gay m/m bondage porn to find portrayals of male submission that I find hot: extremeboyz.com, tieguyuk.com, bondagejeaopardy.com. 

The things that women in general seek that men do not are things that cost money in production hard costs, so good F/m "porn" would be more expensive to make.  Better acting/more attractive and charismatic subs, better lighting and scenes (for plot development, characters, which lack in traditional porn), better scripts and real chemistry between real people. The result?  A porn production that is MUCH higher cost to produce than typical porn - combine that with a smaller market and what do you have? A money losing venture.  Or - alternatively - a fun pet project if you are willing to lose money on it.

At some point I plan to dabble in this, when I can afford to lose at least $50,000 and know I will never see it again.  It won't be for a little while, but when I do, I can promise it will be good :)  I have also started negotiations with a few m/m porn entities with the idea that I could collaborate and borrow their sets, actors and production equipment in some sort of joint venture, but I haven't seen that through to completion either.
