Yes I could, if I wanted to. But I don't. Wild turkeys are vastly different in appearance from the turkeys that are raised for grocery stores. Colour is the main thing. They are big birds and leave a hella dent in the front end of a car. I also have a doe that is hanging out with my horses, keeping her baby or babies (haven't see it?them yet to know) closeby in the tall grasses. She was in the yard Tuesday morning when I took the dogs out. Just standing and watching us. Last year during rut I had a young buck that was hanging out and rubbing on my young fruit trees. He even challenged me one morning when I went out to feed horses. I threatened to have him for dinner.
