Have been there ... probably a half a dozen times ... its never fatal but its always so funny. I once lost a serious chunk of hair turning my head during some fire play ... I had no idea there was a flame right by me, she said "keep your head still" muffled by blindfold I couldn't hear and turned my head to ask her to repeat ... and burning hair .. one of the least sexy smells there is!

Omg laughing so much... then a sudden guilt trip 'cos it's not so funny you being stabbed girl!
Three points:
1. Obey...when He says don't move.. don't move.
2. Disobey.. put your hair up...jeez i hate a mouthful of hair, especially when it's my own...nothing worse than the texture of hair when giving the world's best ever blow job. (i recently stopped to spit and it sent out the wrong message).
3. Invest in the best water-proof dust sheets. i have two which i cut in half and i therefore have four soft waterproof backed bed sheets. i tried to find the link where i bought them but couldn't but then i realised it got them in the UK. Will spare you the details but a bed could get pretty wrecked when We play.... and my water-proof sheeting has also been through the washing machine a few times so good value for money.
PS.. maybe have your head shaved?? just kidding but i'm sure the style started because some D type somewhere started gagging.

errr..i think problem is being stabbed doesn't actually feel that bad...i man i know i have my wires crossed but seriously being stabbed doesn't feel like one has been stabbed at all. A clean sharp blade is in and out before any sensation takes place. Same thing with broken glass.
Knife play, needle playisn't edgy to me because it's difficult to 'take' as sesation... it's edgy because so much damage can be done so easily without even having the sensation that it's taking place.
i prefer to use the term 'cut' or cutting for knife play and leave the term stabbing to street stuff. Just nit pickingreally i know...

I barely felt it granted but i was definately stabbed not cut lol
I agree with the damage thing, i barely felt it at the time but couldnt lift my arm above my head without pain for about three weeks.

i'm really freaked by knives actually. And yet i love knife play. same with needles. i'll have to look away when i have an injection. i've heard that said by so many friends who are into bdsm as well.
When i was pregnant the first the freakiness of knives became almost a phobia. i got an irrational fear of knives and this lasted until my first born was about 6 months old. i used to fear stabbing someone. i've heard that from friends who have been pregnant or lactating also.
Maybe it's evolutionary? that knives have been so much a part of our survivla that we have a kind of root memory of them? i don't know all i know is that a needle and a knife give me a huge turn on when in the hands of a beloved. Otherwise? well i'm just thankful i don't live in an area of knife crime.
