Right before the Super Bowl started, I set the DVR to record and then took pet out to eat. After all, Super Bowl Sunday is perhaps the best time to go out to a diner and shop.

When we arrived back home, I started the Super Bowl from the beggining. After hearing the National Anthem, I fast forward the game so pet and I could hurry up and watch the commercials.

1. For originality and talent I have to give the award to the Whoperets for the new Burger King Commercial.

Runner up was the streaking sheep that ran into the field where the horses were playing foot ball.

2. For humor and flat out being "Just WRONG!" I give the award to the Budweiser with Bear commercial.

Runner up was the Diet Pepsi commercial with Jackie Chan. Diet Coke was used to be Diet Pepsi's stunt double.

3. Sexiest commercial goes to Pizza Hut using Jessica Simpson.

Runner up was the web site commercial with the old guy and the chick whos shirt comes undone.

4. Most inspiring commercial. "I'm going to Disney World!"

No runner up that I can think of.

5. Best car commercial goes to the SUV Hibrid and Kirmit the Frog.

Runner up, Honda with Yo Samady Sam.

6. Most organized commercial goes to Budweiser with the Foot Ball crowd and sighns.

Runner up was the ESPN sports cell phone.

3rd goes to Diet Pepsi and Diddy.

7. Most Pathetic I would have say was Mc Donalds commercial with the Hamster Wannabe Mascott. I didn't encourage me to want to try Mc D's any time soon.

8. The SBC and AT&T commercial. YAWN!

Anyone care to give there two cents or there thoughts on the 2006 Super Bowl Commercials?

I loved the Fedex one with the cavemen and the Bud Light one with the magic refridgerator

I have to agree. The Fed Ex - Cavemen one was the best.

I would give a good second place to the magic refridgerator.

As for "most organized"???? That commercial smelled like CGI to me.

I really liked the Magic Refrigerator one.

But overall, I didn't think any of them were up to the level of past years.

At some point today I saw one (don't remember if it was during the SB or earlier in the day)
for a cell phone with "Crime Prevention" lol. Turns out the phone owner throws it at someone
and knocks them down! The poor guy tries to get back up and the owner throws it again, hits
him in the head and knocks him down again! That was the "Crime Prevention" feature! It
cracked me up! (And yes, I will admit that I'm fairly easy to amuse!) [:D]

Most annoying had to be the Gilette comercial.

By far the stupidest and almost gross was the Hummer commercial

But the absoulte worse thing during the 3-4 hrs... was the Ref's .. oh wait commmercials sorry off topic.

I to liked the Fed-Ex one the best, second was a tie between the Lady escapeing the airplane seat to end up on guys lap, and the Zap the fly with defibulators.

I forgot about that one! I did enjoy the airplane commercial too, when she lands on his lap just as the lights come on!

This is the time of the year when i actually watch the commercials and putts around the house during the show...LOL And i have to agree...i felt a little let down this year as a whole. Fed Ex gets my vote.

After reviewing the replay of commercials, The Little Horse pushing the Budweiser wagon turns out to be the most inspirational with Disney World being the runner up.

Budweiser did infact cheat with some CGI help. The Whoperets will need to take 1st for cordination.

Fed Ex was indeed funny but became cheesy for me with the ending after the unemployed cave man left the cave.

I still nominate Budweiser and the Bear being the funniest and the "That's just wrong!"
However, I would have to say that the Fly and the Difibulator Pads equal with Diet Pepsi and Jackie Chan ad.

On a last note, would anyone care to buy a Toyota and park it next to the sea to prove it can still look and drive 100% as if nothing had happen after High Tide? I give this one the Biggest Bull SHIT ad.

Did anyone else think the girls dressed up as hamburger parts was a little off putting?

We were all trying to figure out how many trucks they ruined for that commercial... or if it was some inflatable thing or CGI.

Oh I know, I just wasn't all that impressed with the Rolling Stones.
Didn't have the energy of the U2 performance.
Although I did think it was funny when he said they could have sung the song at Super Bowl 1!
Yes, they've really been around that long!!!

Yeah, I would have to second that. However tied for worst commercial has to be the Burger King one with the dancing burger, buns and toppings. That one was awful and made me cringe and want a shower.
