I just had a severe headdesk moment.
I was talking to a black guy he told me how hard he was and I said
"Then beat off like a monkey at the zoo"
It took a few seconds for it to hit what I said. I have never felt so bad
I completely didn't mean it in an offensive way, I was just using a metaphor.

So has anyone else ever had one of these "Oh fuck I shouldn't have said that" moments?

I have done that a time or a billion. One time i said don't be cow when i meant don't be coy, and fortunatly my friend knew I wasn't being rude and just replied with moooooooooooooooo
