I am recently new to this lifestyle and need to know how to tell if the person i am talking to is a true dom....can a true dom be bi-sexual is a question i need answered....my girlfriend who has been on here for awhile says no, i need a second opinion please...thank you kileybare

I don't know if I am a twue domme, but why on earth can't anybody not be bisexual? Does sexual attraction to both genders automatically make you less dominant?

I suppose it depends on what a Dom is to you. I don't think there is a manual on what constitutes any of this really. Does he seem truthful and sincere when you talk to him, or like his pants are around his ankles? If what he says aligns well with what you want, then sure, why not? If you have a problem with his orientation, then maybe he just isn't right for you. I don't personally see why you can't be a Top/bottom/Sadist/masochist or whatever while being bi-sexual. Whatever floats their boats I say. Oh, and welcome to the forums.

A "true dom" will have a tattoo somewhere on her head. She would have received it when she came of age and appeared before the High Order of Dommes aka HOOD with her Domme sponsor. I'm a bisexual woman who operates as a dominant. (I suppose ultimately I am a switch, but between the gods and the fibro and the IBS, I do enough submitting.) I like being bi as a dominant. It has led to some fun good times.

It's a lot like the Weird Al song "Close Enough (but no cigar)". If you keep looking for the one "true domme" you're never going to find her because you'll always find a reason why she's not perfect. Stop placing hoops in front of her and instead of trying to jump through them, she might focus her time on dominating you.
