Well aravain, that is precisely my point.....those who perfer to listen to classical as those who listern to rock & Roll to country western...each has their particular type...and usually the type of music listened to is some indication as to the level of sophistication.......but not necessarily so.

Classical is period music, Mosart, Beethoven etc..... The 1812 Overture'..if you like that...okay....does it make it any better than the other genres...maybe so, considering the discipline to creat the piece, then yes, light years ahead of Lionel Richie's 'Say You, Say Me'. Which according to an interview he gave...the piece came to him in an airplane john while he was taking a crap. Yet, it sold in the millions.

Classical.... is the test of time, duration, lasting, well composed, displine in creation....a person had to know something, how to read music, how to create, just on paper, not hearing the sound...to create the sound. And to know the sound of the intruments, it's pitch, it's relationship to the instrument next to it.



What you are actually asking people to comment on...is the 'Labeling'
