Here is the thing, Kim.  We aren't capable of comprehending this thing we call "God."  We can get glimmers and glimpses, but ultimately we are the blind Indians trying to understand the elephant.

We build frameworks and myths, one on top of another, taking from the last to maybe get something a bit clearer next time.  Whatever visions may come will still be wrong, the bits that are right will still get twisted, and assorted assholes will still find a way to believe that the new vision still supports all their bigotry and fear.

It is normal for us to assign patterns to randomness. I think this is what you've done. like the Ancient Greeks looking at start and claiming random stars made figures.

Humanity is not comfortable with randomness, with chaos, we try to assign order to it simply to feel more comfortable.

Actually, I think I see that too. [:D]  I refer to it as a "butt blaster", because it reminds me of the evolved version of the worms in the movie "Tremors".

When viewing it as a man's head, the tip of his nose is around Monterrey. The top of his head starts at Los Angeles, and runs to about Edmonton, before going into the back of his head. His top lip starts around Houston, and his chin near Jacksonville. The Great Lakes sort of remind me of tonsils.

Wish I could be more helpful.

Kim

I have a problem. I do not think that the idea of “God” is that difficult to understand. Then again, finding someone to discuss the topic with openly, is a difficult task in itself, finding someone like that, close by, so I can show them what I am talking about; even harder.

It is normal to believe that everyone does the same things, and for the same reasons.

I don’t do well establishing patterns from randomness, which is why mastering reading and spelling the English langue, was so difficult for me.

I agree with that. A need to know, or at least a belief that one knows, seems prevalent.

A slight contradiction to your theory; seeing this stuff has done very little to bring me comfort, it has felt more like obtaining an overwhelming amount of responsibility.

Yes, I see it...it is the face of George W. Bush. the knower of all things.

Really?... I was thinking mid to late forties ‘commoner’.

Knower of all things eh? I thought he was still waiting for someone to repeat the question.[8|]

Gotta love these eurocentric maps, with the old continent firmly planted in the top center part.

Where it belongs, in the middle of All Things.

Kim,

There is symbolism every where. Often that symbolism spurs us to re-think, re-evaluate the world around us and who we are at this time.  It may only be apparent to you Kim, because at this point in your life you need this for whatever self-discovery you've decided to undertake.  If this is something that the rest of us need to acknowledge we will all be pointed in that direction so that we get whatever information is necessary for our own well being.
It is what I like to refer to as "the two by four between the eyes".

Good luck.

It puts the man's head near the begining; right after the end... where it belongs. Works for me.

If the self discovery I under took pertained to the rest of the world; what then?

I know you can't see my hands, but I'm doing the best I can. [;)]
