ORIGINAL: leadership527 Trash bag? Oh puleaze.... I did the whole mary poppins umbrella thing off the roof of the barn. The first time it didn't work so well because I failed to realize that if it did work, I was going to be holding my entire body weight with the grip of just one hand. Man, Mary Poppins had some hellacious grip strength. I plummeted to my doom. THe second time though, with both hands firmly gripping the handle, it worked out pretty well. I was going to cut a hole in the top to increase stability, but my parents found me about then and put an end to my early engineering efforts. Lol… If my parents knew half the things we did, I probably would not be alive to talk about it. My big bro was the facilitator of many of our adventures; using Mom’s umbrella and ruining it, would not have made for a pretty situation. Most certainly would have been blamed on me, if not in whole, at least in a “Well, Kim did it too.” manner. Seems like we used other things as well, bed sheets maybe, but I really only remember the trash bag experiment. When that didn't work out too well, we switched to filling the bags (trash and storage), full of water to make bombs; invited our friends over, then bombed them from the roof, off the front side of the house, where it is two stories to the ground. (dumbasses) Kim
