It's a bitch when you realize that being in your late 40's means that most of the 20 year old babes aren't going to be looking your way anymore, ain't it? OMG, it's a CRISIS!!!! How about taking the blinders off and discovering that there are plenty of young-looking and acting 40 and 50 year olds out there that would think a 47 year old sub would be just dandy to have around.

I always date guys older than me. How old? Depends on the guy. It all comes down to your match with someone and not their age. I find I have a lot more in common with people who are ten and twenty years older. I'm an old soul I guess. Look for what you want and don't short change yourself. Age? is a simple measure of chronology? A relativity...He is far younger than me... yet none of us would know how old we are were it not for anno domini... If you feel uncomfortable with the age gap, would be my answer. If you are turned on by a certain age span (bracket?) you can not change that, in my experience.

~~fast reply!~~ now a more serious post about this.... my ex husband was 9 years younger than i am, and until i finally stopped dying my hair NO ONE believed i was the younger of the 2 of us. if i wasnt genetically predisposed to premature grey (started in my 20's, thank god they're more silver than dull grey) i still wouldnt look anywhere near my age. age matters...if you let it. age matters if it weighs you down. TheEngineer recognises that i'm a 12 year old in an adult body, and allows me to be so. its not all beer and skittles, but age differences can work easily (he's 5 years older than i am, Daddy (who still owns my collar also) is 8 years older) if you let them. kitten

When I was 18, I was dating a 49 year old man. I loved older men. Now that I'm, well, a wee bit older at 43, I'm collared and married to a Man who's 7 years younger than me. Most people don't even recognize the fact that I'm older until we joke about it. I laugh when I see people nervously looking at me and making "cougar" wise-cracks. OP, the person who is most worried about your age is you. Relax, let it go and be yourself. Everybody has personal preferences and you're no exception. But to tell the truth, if you dismiss some Dominants out of hand based on age, you're the one losing out in the long run. I can think of a few around here that if I weren't quite happily collared and married in a monogamous relationship, well, let's just say I'd be offering my butt to for a good spanking. [:D]
