It's a holiday weekend in the States, is that why it seems like everyone is on Collarme tonight? I can't seem to get anything to load fast enough on the 'otherside'. Beside my bitchin and moanin, I hope everyone is well!

long weekends drive me nuts, they mess with the routine. i'd prefer a whole week off, long weekends just mess with schedules and stuff! PM

Normally during the weekends (particularly during the warmer months) I am out of here for some serious bonfire partying down at the family cabin in the Southern Tier, but the family business depends a lot on tourists and this is a major tourist weekend. So - ironically - I'll be home at nights this weekend.

I am so going to sit out on the bay tomorrow with my computer and sit on CM all day. Yes. This is the latest I have been on CM in forever.

Same as every weekend for me..working. Nice thing i work at home so have access to computer. Think i will start writing a new short story using notebook paper. Working on penmanship, and brings back wonderful feelings of how writing was done in the past. Maybe one day will find an antique typewriter..nay:) Hopefully will have more thunder in Florida, since i love the thunderbeings Happy Memorial Day everyone in the U.S.

I like thunder too, but all this rain is making me go crazy. Never knew I would miss the sun so much until this week of rain set in.

ahhhhhh. Florida is so dry that we really need all the rain we can get. Rain is good but the thunder is what gets me going. It also balances the ions which is needed. hope you see the sun soon.

It's a holiday weekend in the UK too, can't for the life of me think why though lol. I would have been doing the same as every day butttttttttt i start my temporary job tonight and have to work monday too (i think). Hmm me thinks that i got duped somewhre.

It's not a holiday here in Canada but we had Victoria Day last weekend which was a major Federal holiday. So it's business as usual here. [:)]

A lot of us were startled by Memorial weekend coming up so quickly. I wasn't planning on working Monday anyway! [:D]

the only reason I was aware of the holiday is because this year it's falling on my Mom's b'day. Well, the observed Memorial day is.
