Uh no, if you see the little red hand at the bottom left corner of every post that says "Block" on it...

I think that basically means "block this person and hide their messages"

not neccesarily that the person IS blocked... i see that little hand on everyones post.. but have yet to click it..

just a thought

Clicking that will not completely hide a user from view. You'll still see that they posted but their post is replaced with the following:

This user is on your "block" list and the message has been blocked.
Click here to unblock this user and view this post.

Click the above line and they will be unblocked again.

I think she did the right thing. Rather than snap back at her, she made use of a board function and bit her tongue. Good for her.

Except that she didn't. She's claimed to have had her blocked for quite a while now but still gets her knickers all twisted every time LA posts. I wonder how that could be if she's been blocked as claimed? Curious, isn't it?

Well, if you are going to say that you do something, without question you should always follow through, that I will admit. I do not read any of My blocked users posts (her and Aakasha). I just happily ignore them and carry on. Actually, I would not have even read this one, and indeed skipped over it, until I read the complaints and then finely hit your post. Frankly, her post met up to My every expectation. Nothing has changed, only the name.

So yeah. If you are going to say you use the function, use it. Do not keep going after her at every chance you get as that obviously only makes you look bad.

She answers most of your questions and that's how you answer her? What an ingrate. No wonder you get bitchslapped so often.

LOL @ "bitchslapped". i have no idea whether she was helpful or not. But TY to everyone else.

Ok cany sweet,

Regardig spyware and other malevolent items like keyloggers. First get you arse to the Lavasoft site (I think www.lavasoft.com) and get twp free programs. The first is called "Ad-Aware SE Personal" This version is free and when i first put it on the puter it found 800 adware, malware and keyloggers in the fiorst 14 days. it was easy to quarantine and then remove them and block them for the future. I'd run it daily including the updates. The other program which is also free is SpywareBlaster from Lavasoft as well. this program will deal with the active-X programs which may be unauthorised and are used to dump links on your puter. (I have over 60 porn sites one night which this program got rid of for me.)

Yes Sir. TY very much.

Ad-Aware is very good, but do not rely on it exclusively. As part of My strategy when I treat infected computers I use a few different programs to search for and delete infections. My consistent findings is that Ad-Aware finds things that Spybot misses, for example, yet Spybot picks up several things that Ad-Aware misses.

What I am saying, then, is to truly deal with the problem you need a multi-pronged approach. I find that Ewido scan is far superior to Ad-Aware, so I now use Ewido, Spybot (and especially the active protection portion) and MS Antispyware Beta. For virii, I use the Panda Activescan and Trend Micro Housecall. For hijacks, I use HijackThis. For all the Cool Web Search variants I use CWShredder, available from Trend Micro.

Needless to say, nothing gets past Me, and I can safely offer a warranty with My service as I leave tools behind to protect them from reinfection.

TY Sir...for everything.

~laughs~ No Knickers, miss.

As for believing/disbelieving anyone is on block, who cares? But you go ahead and research your lil heart out so we can all see your proof.
