When I was in my 20's and I had a perm, I was told that I looked (and acted) like Bette Midler. As I grew older and (and fatter lol) I have been told I look like John Goodman (omg!) and people have told me I could be a family member of John Candy. Neither one of those are complimentary, but what can I say? I agree with LaT on this. It is hard for "normal" looking women to look like anyone famous these days, because even the famous women these days do not look "normal" to me. My ex husband looks EXACTLY like Robin Williams. In fact, so much that when RW came to town for a show, people were asking my ex for his autograph! People have come up to us in restaurants and asked if he is RW. Even while sitting at the dentist office, the girls in the back were coming out to look at him, convinced that RW was there, using a fake name. My ex once tried out for the TV Guide channel's show, "Look Alike" and was accepted, but due to scheduling conflicts it couldn't be arranged for him to get off work to do the taping. Even now, that both are older, my ex STILL looks like him. Right down to the same shaped teeth. It is uncanny. Now my ex looks like how RW looked in the creepy movie One Hour Photo. http://j.bdbphotos.com/news/pictures/4L/12/22412_large.jpg This could be Robin Williams or it could be my ex. *I* can not tell the difference. I know it is RW but I swear my ex looks like this now. Too much coffee MoGa Edited to add photo link
