I am interested to hear from other Mistresses regarding their sessions.  Are orgasms for your submissives a given?  I am having a discussion with someone who feels sure that an orgasm should be part of a session.. what do others think?

Depends on whether you're a pro Mistress or not.  If you are, do what the client wants. If not, then you're in control, and orgasm is a big way to emphasize that.

There's an entire subject called orgasm denial that says that your discussion friend is wrong.

A sub has an orgasm if I desire him/her to have one. If not he/she does not.  And frankly most of the time I don't desire it particularly in the early stages. I have no interest in someone that submits just to get an orgasm.  And actually, I am very likely to bring him/her to the brink and then stop - very fun for me in my sadistic ways.

I view an orgasm as a reward for following my instructions PERFECTLY.  Even if he's been perfectly obedient, that doesn't mean he'll always get to cum.   Then I'll go to the other extreme and MAKE him cum three times.  (My slaves are older, so three times in one  session  hurts!)  It's all about me.  That's what makes being a Dominant so much fun.  I listen, I decide.

Firstly a sub has to earn an orgasm.  Secondly once he has cum, you have lost control.  If you control his balls you control him.   Bringing him to the edge and holding back will certainly get his attentions and co-operation for sure.

Absolutely, Miss Lockit.  Admittedly some men feel submissive only when they are sexually excited.  But there are many men who have a deep emotional committment to their Ladies and feel submissive even if not excited.  I happen to be one such.

I don't think that it's a mandatory part of a session, just like it does't always happen doring sex..

But, as a female sub, I've never been denied as part of one. I've been delayed but never denied.. normally I'll have 5-10 before playtimes up...

Orgasm is a reward that is not always granted.

Actual sexual contact is a BIG reward reserved only for my best boy.... and only when he's been good.

I would say it depends on your preference and the preference of the person you are sessioning with.

For some an orgasm is a "natural" way to end the play time, others see it as distracting...

For subs who were much too focused on their orgasms, I had a lot of fun making it a bit "uncomfy" and not very rewarding, let them rub, give them even some lube but then have salt nearby and pour it over them, they will remember that orgasm for a long time, also a drop of peppermint oil can sting nicely and for a while, same with icy hot or other deep heat creams. Sometimes it's hard to tell if they scream in pain or pleasure...
