What the devil is going on here?

Start with the first post. It's pretty imaginative, as one might expect on this site. Enjoy!!

Did you hear about the line that was cut from Blazing Saddles?

"Is it twue what they say about people like you?"

*Zzzzziiiiiip"

"Ooo! It's twue! It's twue!"

"Pardon me, ma'am, but you're sucking on my arm."

OsideGirl -> RE: If Collarme Were An Old Western... (9/21/2013 12:40:51 PM)

That's funny!

hlen5 -> RE: If Collarme Were An Old Western... (9/21/2013 9:05:07 PM)

I generally hate the "t" word, but there is something soooo funny about Harvey Korman calling Madeliene Kahn (sp?) "You Teutonic txxx"!!

It's a Fellini sex comedy filtered and channeled by Once Upon A Time In The West.

Moonhead -> RE: If Collarme Were An Old Western... (9/22/2013 5:30:58 AM)

And there was me thinking it had something to do with Mel Brooks and Richard Pryor...
[:D]

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: If Collarme Were An Old Western... (9/22/2013 8:11:07 AM)

Oh no, I like the Mel Brooks film better. But Richard Pryor wasn't in Blazing Saddles, was he...? /scratch head emotion/

Moonhead -> RE: If Collarme Were An Old Western... (9/22/2013 12:06:54 PM)

He's supposed to have had a hand in scripting Blazing Saddles.

Richard Pryor was one of the screenwriters for the movie. He's actually responsible for the line "Mondo just pawn in game of life". He was also supposed to be Sheriff Bart, but he had a scandal just prior to filming and the studio thought it was better to replace him.

And I love Madeline Khan in that movie.

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: If Collarme Were An Old Western... (9/23/2013 6:49:59 PM)

Lovely anecdote! It was good that he didn't star in it however. His fame at that point would have "pulled focus" too much from Wilder. Despite the wonderment of their team-up the unfortunate train movie.

I'll be the female gunslinger who refuses to be bound by gender stereotypes 100 years before the term gender stereotype was invented.

mnottertail -> RE: If Collarme Were An Old Western... (10/14/2013 1:48:58 PM)

I would be McClintock and spank me some bitches.

MasterCaneman -> RE: If Collarme Were An Old Western... (10/14/2013 2:47:52 PM)

I don't know precisely where I'd fit in the script, but I'd definitely be wearing a black hat. Because I make 'em look good. And none of that greenhorn fancy stitching and conchos on my rig, it'd be bare bones and well-worn.

TNDommeK -> RE: If Collarme Were An Old Western... (10/14/2013 7:22:08 PM)

I'd be running whores. Lol

So.... Annie Oakley, then?

TNDommeK -> RE: If Collarme Were An Old Western... (10/15/2013 9:48:06 AM)

I'm thinking Sarah in "a mule for Sister Sarah" with Clint Eastwood.
Someone should be her.

MasterCaneman -> RE: If Collarme Were An Old Western... (10/15/2013 8:15:31 PM)

Loved that movie.

incubusboy -> RE: If Collarme Were An Old Western... (11/2/2013 3:19:29 PM)

I just got here, so maybe someone claimed it over the last four years. But I would be John Wayne, spanking red-headed, howling beauty Maureen O'Hara, over my knee, in her underwear, with a borrowed blacksmith's trowel, on Main Street, while the whole town laughs and approves, in McClintock.
