Folks, thank you all, even the ones that I argued with, for some fine conversation. You are, truly, one of the finest groups I've run across in several years. I hope that I gave you some things to think about, get pissed off about, rant about, and enjoy debating. I've managed to violate the Terms of Service several times in rapid succession over the last couple of days, and I know myself well enough to know that I'm not all that good at guarding what I say, so I think that collarme and I are not such a good fit. That doesn't mean that I don't think collarme is a great site, nor does it mean that I am not appreciative of the site owners and moderators for all of their efforts. My thanks to them as well for providing the resource.

I am sorry you deleted your account before I could respond to your last letter. As I said in it, I personally really enjoy your posts, and will be sorry to see you go. I would hate to see you leave Leonidas. Why not just continue to post and if they get pulled then so be it. At least we would still get your input on the remaining ones. I will miss you.[:(]

Leonidas, i really hate to see You go. i haven't known You long but i have truly learned so very much from You. i think that You bring so much to the community and it will be a huge loss. i hope You will reconsider.

Well I have to say I am surprised. You've shared a lot of valuable information. Generously, I might add. You've had a few debates. Some solid, some futile. That's how it goes around here. You let your humorous side show. I knew you had one somewhere. I've had posts deleted. That happens too. I get an email telling me what I did wrong, and I make an effort to remember, not to do it again. lol Sometimes that doesn't work. [>:] I like the boards too much to walk away, and the people who post on them. Whether I agree with them all the time, or not. But if you're determined to go... It's been a slice. [;)]

I would like to state for the record that Leonidas left the board of his own choice. He wasn't asked to, nor was he even given a warning. It is not intorlerance that drove him away, unless you are contending Afmvdp, that we are being intolerant in posting a term of service, having people agree to it when they open their account, then actually enforcing it? To my knowledge, this site has only ever banned 2 people. Both were given numerous warnings, and created accounts over and over, always continuing to break TOS. Those who have been around know who I'm talking about if you think about it. I am making this post to stop rumors since I have already been asked if he was banned. He is MORE than welcome to return at any time. Mod 4

I wasn't blaming you or the site in any way directly. A site is just where people come together, what those people do or what they say to each other once they are there is not a matter of the site but of the random chance occurance. Intolerance is not about TOS, hell you should realize I don't feel that from my reply to you when you pulled my thread about Pros...But I digress. We're all adult, we all make our own decisions as to whatever we feel is best for ourselves. I don't think a message board is really going to make or break someones soul.

Now wait a moment[8\|] I get to get on for a half hour thanks to MCI semi truck satilite email in the middle of Ol Charlies Shit and the first thing I read is the moment I have to contend with real life issues of MAJOR PROPORTIONS, Master Leon has whimpped out on Me the moment I must turn My head to tend to real life issues and His hands are slapped by who knows what but obviously it has offended His tender lil Gorean Manlyhood in sum kind of way that He has the need to run out on not only a Site that He admits has way more good things going for it then bad but has totally over looked the bigger issues here of the need for more Strong Independant Men of Dominance to be here to assist in the right ways of direction. So He broke sum rules........ BIG DEAL!! So have We all and being strong enough to do such when You stand up for what You feel is right is what seperates the REAL Dominants from the Hit and Run Men/Woman whom only can wish to be such. I wonder where is that Dominant Personna now?? Hello, I posted before on this subject on another topic. The issue with being a moderator on a web message board is similar to being a referee to a youth soccer game. There are a set of rules which the moderator or referee is counted upon to enforce REGARDLESS of whether they personally agree with them or not. A referee has a relatively horrible time, and personally, I am surprised at my self-masochism that made me volunteer to do it. A referee has to make a judgement call, they make it, it may or not be unpopular, BUT... The moderators of this board are not beholden to the people posting, they have a set of guidelines they have to follow and they do so, WITHOUT BEING PAID TO DO SO, to ensure the long term survival of the message board. While Leonidas can assume it is a personal attack on him, and other people can be supportive of him, it MIGHT just be that the moderator whose job it was to monitor that message board was out enjoying Real Life for the last two weeks and returned to their job, saw 4 posts which violate the rules, and pulled 4 threads.
