Unameme -> Don't reply with just a one liner. (2/8/2006 10:26:57 PM)

Ya know what I have found , a new pet peeve, no pun intended.
ya well ok,
Why is it when reading profiles, for Many Dominant Females,
They ask that you read thier profile completely,
And when when you reply,
Do not reply with just a one line introduction,
if so all such responces will be deleted,
I have responded to many of these profiles,
followed the wishes of the Dominant's rules to responding
sent pictures if asked in profile, etc etc
Send a completely original reply to the Dominant
and many time ignored completely ,
not a
Sorry Charlie
this Domme don't want tuna's with good taste
this Domme want's tuna's that taste good,
or even
Your so friggen ugly, screw off Door knob
Then people wonder WY they get one liners !!!!
or just a simple
Not my type,

It just kindof bug's me that at a
Salutory stage of Introduction

thanks in love an peace bluesmate

lol, while I can sympathize with your plight, I say:

Dommes, please write. One line? fine. One word? better than nothing!

lol, I am thrilled to death to get a reply. One liner, multi-paragraph, heck, I'm easy.

Even if it is a 'go be fruitful and multiply with yourself" ... at least it is an answer, and I don't have to see a sent message in my mail box and wonder hmmmm .... did she read it? will she reply later?

It seems to be the general consensus that most do not like to receive one liners. Yet nothing is more frustrating and yes, even hurtful, to expose part of yourself in an email only to have it completely ignored. Damned if you do and damned if you don't...

online connecting......what a rollercoaster ride.........

MHOO314 -> RE: Don't reply with just a one liner. (2/9/2006 2:40:58 PM)

I have to agree, I personally respond to EVERY email I get--now granted if I get a pic of an anatomical part--it may not be the sweetest reply, but there is a reply--even now that I say no petitions and still get petitions--- I reply--two seconds--but life is what it is.

Petruchio -> RE: Don't reply with just a one liner. (2/9/2006 3:10:57 PM)

By now you should know where to post these things. (MY pet peeve.)

That said, your profile says you go in for humiliation, mental bondage, face-slapping, slavery… I'd argue that you're getting what you signed up for.

Having said that, consider this: I am a dom, a male, and I can only understand a submissive as a wolf understands a rabbit. However, I don't want a total wuss but someone with a brain and personality who CHOOSES to be submissive. Maybe some of the dom-Fs think the same way?

Gauge -> RE: Don't reply with just a one liner. (2/9/2006 7:54:04 PM)

Your post implies that a response is required. It isn't. I have sent many an email to subs merely to compliment them and wish them luck and they have never responded. Is that rude? Maybe, but they are not compelled to respond because I took the time to write. In fact, if we all had a dime for everyone that has complained that their email doesn't get answered we could buy our own kinky island.

That's so weird. I had a dream last night that some guy showed me his driver's license and it was a picture of Rick James on his license. Too funny!

I never understood why everyone thought the rabbit was invisible. He was right there, big as life, kind of pink, eating Hershey bars…

I do too... Hey Fergus wanted to ask on your thread to play some funk and dance your way out of funk, but that would have been too flip that day. [:D] M
