Fake Disneyland opens in China. As it is discussed later in the link video, the world needs to put more pressure on China to stop it's unfair practices in this world economy. They are commonly known to sell pirated videos and music. Knock-offs of every major brand of clothing, and countless other items. Not to mention the under-priced dumping of their goods in every market around the globe. Now they have gone after a world renowned icon (Disney), who had nothing but goodness in his heart.

I find it difficult to believe that if the Disney Organization is aware of this, that they haven't sued over it.

I wonder if the team that loses the Superbowl goes there?

They can sue all they want.  The best that they could hope for would be a victory in US court, with no way to enforce it in China.

The Chinese government is knee deep in the piracy market which is one of the reasons it has been difficult to stop. An amusement park such as this did not spring up overnight. I'm sure Disney or whatever parent company owns them these days is well aware of its existence and equally well aware of what little they can do to stop it. Given that it is such a cheap knock-off and geographically doesn't really threaten their legitimate parks they may not even be terribly concerned. The folks who visit there likely couldn't afford the trip to a real Disney park so there is essentially no lost revenue from it.

Actually, the Disnet militia is making plans for a covert run to destroy the place even as we speak.  The seven dwarves are going to mine under the rides so that they will come crashing down while a crack commando squad led by Goofy and Donald are going to sneak in and take over the offices.  The Dumbo led airstrikes will bring the castle walls down to their foundations.

Really, wtf are they going to do?  There is nothing they can do to stop it.  They could try bringing the manufacturing of all Disney merchandise back to the US and hurt them a little but China wouldn't care for very long.

Actually there is something the rest of the world can and should do. Kick China out of the WTO and the WIPO. A condition of their membership was for them to curtail IP infringement and since that hasn't happened they should be expelled from both organizations which would allow the rest of the world to set tariffs appropriate to the economic harm China does to that country on goods imported from China. Walmart would lose some profits and China would lose the income stream used to buy up our debt in a clear attempt to gain control of our fiscal policy.

As a matter of fact the WTO ruled that China was in substantial non compliance with WTO and WIPO commitments this past january but failed to recommend any action except to urge china to rectify the problem. Which after more than a decade of membership in the WTO they haven't done.

That is something that the WTO can do, not Disney.   Even though they can, they won't.  Aside from ruining good economies by supporting countries like China, the only thing these organizations will do is say, "Bad China."  No real action will be taken so Disney gets ripped off with little to no recourse.
I'll agree with you that what you say should happen.  I won't hold my breath for these pencil pushing bureaucrats to do the right thing.
They can say that China is noncompliant all day long but until they act on that, they are as useless as a beer fart and twice as foul smelling.
