Does anyone here play? Could you explain how this works in brief? Are we talking about a card game? The Mistress plays and mentioned in passing that she is missing a BattleTech Mech from her current deck, the Kodiak (of GhostBears?), that she really enjoyed using in the past. I'd love to replace this for her, perhaps as a gift for a special occasion, but I've no idea what it is. Am I looking for a miniature, a card, or something else entirely? Thanks.

I know it is a miniatures game ... and probably a CCG as well. YOu will CERTAINLY need specific info to know what she'd want! But failing that, I would get her any sort of battletech doo-dad and just the thought would be very pleasing to her. I might also suggest finding out what local game store she goes to, and getting a gift certificate for her from there. fergus

The problem is that Battletech has been run as a CCG, a mini's game, a sort of RPG, and as a console game... Like fergus said... you'll need to get better details...
