I am not sure where to post this, but I have a question with regards to my flogger. It gets wrinkled in the toy bag, yet I can not carry it outside of the toy bag lol what would people say? <s>

Any ideas on how to get the wrinkles out of the leather once it is removed from the bag? When I put it in, I usually fold the leather falls together towards the handle.

Thank you in advance for suggestions.

A lot of people put them in long socks to keep the tails from getting tangled and bent up.

If it does get bent, I'd suggest working them over with cleaning and softening supplies made for the material and then letting them hang for awhile.

Good advice.

Floggers here at home are always hung so that the leather falls are free to hang downward. When packing them for a party or event I have always tied ribbon loosely around them in 4 to 6 inch increments starting at the top and working down. Hair scuncies work well too but make sure you don't put them on too tightly. They are then put into a flogger bag of the proper size. These bags are cheap and can be purchased at most events. If you are handy that way, they are also easy to sew. This seems to keep the falls from wrinkling or becoming creased. Hope this helps.

We wrap our floggers in scarves - works quite well, keeps the falls from getting tangled, and gives us something to tie the boys up with when we get the floggers out *grin*

That's along the lines of what I did when I was making and selling floggers, I sent them off to their new homes in a thigh high stocking. It does a great job of keeping them from getting all tangled up with the rest of the things in people's toybags.

I have to admitt that my first thought was Geriatric Floggers.......

I wrap mine in seperate towels which can be both used to wipe the sweat etc from the flogger as well as being able to be washed.

Wrap it around an empty toilet paper tube before packing--if it is wrinkled after--hang it over steaming water---will fall right out---

A good leather conditioner might help once you're done playing with your toys. Clean em up and let them hang whenever possible.

Another option is to build yourself a standing, roller-type toy bag that will let your floggers hang freely.

Here is a link for you, but you can usually purchase them cheaper at events and they are certainly cheaper to make if you are talented.
