How do you handle not being able to see your Master/Mistress. This coming weekend because of money reason I will not be able to see my trainer. I would ask that you would comment on how the above question and not why do I have a trainer

Do a search for "coping long distance" and see what you get.

What should you do? Clean the house? Do taxes? Those little chores you haven't gotten around to? Clean out the DVR on the TV? Wallow in the bliss of alone time?

I assume you asked your trainer, what did they say?

The short and sweet answer is that you suck it up. There are going to be times that you can't be together and there's not a whole lot you can do about that.

Have you asked your trainer if there is anything you should be doing or working on during the time you're apart? That would be a good first step.

That is what i have been doing. This is the first week end in a month that that as of right now that I will not be with her and her sub

Then that's what you should do this weekend. Have you done the search I suggested yet and read through those threads?

Spend all weeekend posting to these boards about how much you miss Her?

and/or...

after you have gotten all your other tasks done..right out a huge list of everything You love about Her and miss about Her to give her next time you see her?

This is a good opportunity for "independent study".

Get some tips on doing a proper manicure. Study up on Tuscan cooking and put together a good meal. Get rid of some clutter in your closets. Deep clean your carpets.

like stef said, this slave has had to "suck it up" from time to time. thankfully those times are few and far between and Master gives this slave tasks to do in his absence.

this slave would also agree with the other posters who suggested asking your trainer for guidance on this issue first and foremost.

as a suggestion, maybe you could write her a letter or poetry, or keep a journal on days you aren't together?

We have talk about this week end and what I am going to do. I did find a group in my area that is meeting on saturday that I am going too. Who knows maybe things will work out that I will get to see her.

lol funny you should mention this MsSonnetMarwood. My pup was looking into learning how to give manicures and there are so many steps that he is now afraid that he will damage my nails. But it is the thought that counted <s>

To the OP, why not get out and bike ride, if you live in a warm enough state? Or go and visit with friends you havent been able to see on the past weekends? I'm sure they would appreciate seeing you after so many weekends of not seeing you.

I'm nursing my own nails back from having had acrylics on for a long time, so I am giving myself a manicure on a daily basis. I do a better job on manicures than most basic nail salons.

What I'd like to do is go to one of these high end day spas to get one and see how they do it. Purely for academic interest of course ;-)

Some "extras" that not all places include that I would recommend: using a sugar body scrub on hands/lower arms/elbos to smooth and moisturize, and DEFINATELY get a paraffin bath (which has multiple uses in a kink household). Otherwise, don't skimp and buy the really cheap nail products (good cuticle scissors are going to cost $20 and up); they don't work as well and you'll have to replace them anyway.

Libby's slave, RioBabe, signed up for a peticure course at a local beauty school. These places usually have "courses of study" but many allow you to take basic courses for a fee without "joining the school".

I think everyone is overlooking the "wallow in the bliss of alone time" idea.

I don't know about everyone else, but that's a HUGE blessing for me that I love.

Sugar scrubs are pretty widely available at places like Bath & Body Works and The Body Shop. There's even a few versions from companies like Village Bath at Walmart. A sugar scrub is basically a sugar (or other abrasive) mixed with oils that you slather on and scrub in really well - it exfoliates and moisturizes at the same time. Some are better than others - the best one I have is a Dead Sea salt & almond/olive oil one that I paid probably too much for, but I love.

Paraffin baths were more popular 3-4 years ago but are still around. It's sort of like a low temp crock pot that melts and holds paraffin wax. They originally were used for heat therapy on hands, feet, and they are still great for that. You dunk the body part in and out of the wax a couple times to build up a coating, then let it sit for a little while to absorb the heat, which will really penetrate deep into the tissue. When you peel the wax off, the skin is extremely soft. I usually do my feet by giving them a good scrub with a pumice, get a good coating of wax on them, then wrap in a plastic bag and wrap an afghan over them. The heat really penetrates and feels wonderful, and leaves my feet extremely soft.

And I'm sure you can imagine the benefits of having a gallon of melted wax around the house ;-)
