I think they would because they're putting your back on display, now if you wanted to flog the ass they wouldn't be good so much cause your ass is low. I sat on one for 30 minutes for a accupressure massage a couple days ago and the thought came to me that it might be fun to have one for sexy time use.

I asked on fetlife too, cause discussions over there are deader than dead sometimes, and someone said yes but they'd be very wobbly and creaky as they're not meant to do a great deal of movement in.

Does any one know the name of the chair? I want to goggle it and it'd certainly help if I knew what to call it other than those massage chairs you sit face down in.

I'm sure if you type in "massage chair" or "seated massage" it would pop up.  Also, you can check with massage supply companies, on EBay, etc.  I got a professional grade massage table (Rated for upto 450 lbs) for $80 on craigslist and it's nearly new. 
As for it bieng 'wobbily', if it is, I would think there is something wrong with the chair.  I've not noticed massage chairs to be wobbily.

Davan I looked up massage chairs, and the only results are those recliners you sit in and they "massage" you through motors and stuff in the chair.

I assume there are multible brands of them, the ones I have seen and used are were not wobbly in the least. Yes, they make very good chairs for flogging someone's back and some other play, but they are limited. They don't give access to legs and ass, for one thing. Also, the angle is different from a bench or bed, so it could throw you off.. I like a kneeling bench better.

I know the kind of chair you're talking about. A friend of mine has one, nice looking, very comfy, very sturdy and holds up to 400-450 lbs. I was in it for fire play, a little bit of wax play and knife play on my upper back and for a singletail session on my upper back. Worked great. Moved to the spanking bench for other things.

YHMA, as i am a LMT in Florida, you may want to look at schools in the area for chairs on sale. The good tables and chairs maybe on sale of classes.

PS They are great for all types of play!!!

At Butchmanns, we ONLY flog with the bottom lying down...and we just bought massage tables to replace old cots for this purpose.
