Last year at GLLA I saw someone waaaay down at the end of the hall in the hotel that had on an outfit I would have loved to have examined more closely. She had on flat boots like you might find in a tack shop and an ankle length suede skirt that was basically 2 or 3 inch slits all the way around. When she stood still, it seemed to look like a regular skirt but when she turned (to leave

) they all swirled around her and then off she went. I didn't see her close enough to know who to look for the rest of the weekend and when I asked around, no one seemed to know who she was- although they shared my interest in the outfit.
I am battling some health problems that are going to keep me out of GLLA this year and I was wondering if anyone happened to see her last year, know who she was, or will spy for me this year.

I think that style of skirt is called a car wash skirt.

"flat boots like you might find in a tack shop..." Jodphur boots- but probably just flat booties, as jod boots can be slippery to walk around in.

If you understand the skirt construction and want one- easy to sew. Garment quality suede isn't cheap. but synthetics are to be found and the slits are done with a razor, and don't need hemming. Not does the hem! But you'd need a very constructed type skirt, the gathered easy thing is out. Probably with a self waistband to keep the movement idea going.

But maybe I'm confused- do you want the clothes? Or the girl? LOL!
