dreamerdreaming is right, like it or not, induction is different from naturally lactating after birth, and it requires more stimulation than once a day, despite the meds. I know, I've done it. Twice. You need the hormone release that suckling produces. Once you get your milk in, and your supply is where you want it, it's not so demanding, but yeah, it does require dedication and someone willing to be there with you pretty much 24/7 for up to a couple of weeks to get your milk in. Pumps are really only good for removing milk, not stimulation. Not saying they can't help but nothing replaces a human mouth for signaling milk glands to produce, and your nursing schedule has to be virtually non-stop until your supply comes in. I wouldn't attempt it again unless I had the time and the partner to dedicate to it.
