Status: offline 		Someone please explain to me this--my slave whom I released is now owned by someone on "second life."  She says he is more of a Master then anyone could ever be in real time.  Says she can be more the slave then ever before in real life.  How can that be???

Maybe she wants to return to cyber.  Maybe she's saying something to hurt you.  Maybe she's been into SL ownership for two weeks and is in the honeymoon stage.

Status: offline 		More importantly, why are you still in contact? All you get by staying in contact immediately after a break up is heartbreak. Seriously, don't talk for several months. If you attend the same munch, sit at the other end of the table. Who cares if she's happier on cyber, or just trying to hurt you, or really has found someone she is more compatible with than you were. You already know you aren't compatible or you wouldn't have broken up. Accept it, mourn the death of the dream, and move on.

Status: offline 		Once you released her she is on her own until she does what she does and apparently what she did was find an O/L situation that she is totally into right now.

Good luck with your search and I hope you find a situation that satisfies you, too.

Status: offline 		Please excuse me for pointing this out.  Since YOU chose to release her, you can not refer to her as "my slave."  I sense that you are hurt because she feels her new online relationship is better than what you two had real time.  It kind of hurts your ego.  You shouldn't let it bother you.

It is fucking second life, which means get a life, and if you can't find one then pretend you have one on second life.

I don't know what to tell you, bro. I feel for you, but without knowing all three of the principals and a few more details, I don't think any of us can really answer your question. Good luck to you, though, both in figuring it out and in getting past it.

Status: offline 		I think the desire here is for people to condemn online relationships. I am not going to because people get their satisfaction from different things and I know that LDR's can be rather like online relationships and they can be incredibly fulfilling.

Therefore 'how it can be' is that is can be, taking her words at face value she is happier with this than you because you were not what she needed.

Deeper, it could be that she is angry and twisting the knife, often though after a relationship has broken down the negatives come to the fore and you do not see them in the new person so she probably genuinely feels it to be the case.

Regardless, you ended it, get over it.

Status: offline 		You released her and she found someone really quick to replace you so your ego hurts. Its her life and she can live it the way that she wants too. If she finds online Domination more to her liking than the real thing then that is her ball of wax, but it is her choice to make.

You released her, and now she may or may not be sincerely happy with someone on second life... in My mind, if someone found happiness with someone online so quickly after we broke up, I'd wonder if they had the emotional maturity of a carrot - UNLESS this breakup has been coming for a while and she'd already suspected that You were planning to release her.

2.) You released her. You gave up the right to have an opinion about what she does from that moment forward.

3.) You released her. You no longer have any responsibility towards her and the choices she makes. She could step out in fromt of a city bus and there's nothing you can do or say about it.

Might sound cold, but releasing someone has consequences for both parties and it sounds like you need to move on....

I don't know your former slave and I don't know how she experienced her slavehood, but I will just venture some guesses....

*Perhaps she is overweight in real life? Online she can be a svelte sexy little love slave, the object of every Master's desire
*Perhaps in real life she has financial limitations? Online she can amass tons of skimpy little slave outfits for little or nothing that would normally cost thousands of dollars in the real world.
*Does she even know what her new Master looks like? Maybe she's simply enamored by his avatar which may fit her ideal concept of what a "Master" looks like.
*Did she have limitations in real life in terms of what she could do as a slave? Online she can take a whipping for hours on end if need be with no physical consequence...could have sex in all sorts of crazy positions most people wouldn't be able to get into or OUT of, etc.
 
I'm just going to throw it out there that maybe your former "slave" suits the fantasy of being a slave better then the reality. Lots of people play online for a while and think they can hang in real life only to learn otherwise. It's not a reflection on you as a Dominant (most likely). It's her own issue and my guess is, those issues of hers may have contributed to her release. Don't take it personal.
