The recent death of David Eddings made me realize there are a lot of his fans on these boards.
So, I’m just curious - if any of his books were made into a movie/mini-series, who would you like to see play which character? The man created so many characters so I’ll just chime in with my two favorites.
Belgarath – Brian Denehey. Just imagine him in a white beard and dozing in a saddle and you’ll see what I mean. He’s got the slightly portly, aged/weathered look but is capable of great energy (I’ve seen him live on stage).
Polgara – Angie Harmon. I’ve seen her portray both stern and compassionate with equal measure. All she really needs is a blue dress and a white streak in her hair.
